#1 jimmynids Nov 11, 2008 22:47:21	So far I got this: 1-5 Rogue5 + Wizard(or Sorcerer)5 5-10 Arcane Trickster5 + Daggerspell mage X + ??? 11-15 Arcane Trickster10+ Daggerspell mage X + ??? 16-20 Daggerspell Mage10 + ??? Looking to maximize skill points, spell levels and saves/attack bonus. Wanted to splice in Daggerspell Mage so that its sneak attack levels would stack with Arcane Trickster. Perhaps throw more rogue in the mix as well. Perhaps throwing in fighter or something for better Fort and BAB. Things to note: Using some of Pathfinder Beta Test(or as i call it D&D 3.75) Feats every odd level, not every 3 levels. HP = max hit die + constitution SCORE not mod for level 1 Merged: Hide/Move=Stealth, Spot/Listen=Perception, Balance/Jump/Tumble=Acrobatics, Gather Info/Diplomacy=Diplomacy, Speak Language/Decipher Script=Linguistics Certain feats were modified but for the most part everything is as 3.5 was. Well, this is why im comin to you guys, help my sneaky arcanist out a lil bit please :D

#3 natenate Nov 11, 2008 23:18:18	A gestalt character can’t combine two prestige classes at any level, although it’s okay to combine a prestige class and a regular class. Prestige classes that are essentially class combinations-such as the arcane trickster, mystic theurge, and eldritch knight-should be prohibited if you’re using gestalt classes, because they unduly complicate the game balance of what’s already a high-powered variant. Because it’s possible for gestalt characters to qualify for prestige classes earlier than normal, the game master is entirely justified in toughening the prerequisites of a prestige class so it’s available only after 5th level, even for gestalt characters. Unless your DM is going to put some houserules on Gestalt, this build is nowhere near legal. Class features that two classes share (such as uncanny dodge) accrue at the rate of the faster class. If you take two classes that gain Sneak Attack at every other level, the fastest your character can gain Sneak Attack is at every other level. You can never gain Sneak Attack at every single level by staggering the levels in the classes, because no class gives Sneak Attack any more often than every other level.

That is, guide to [creating] spellcasters who sneak-attack, not a guide on how to sneak-attack spellcasters. How about Factotum/Chameleon? Persistent Hunter's Eye + Unseen Seer to get the spell + Practised Spellcaster.

While F\feats that merge classes (i.e. Daring Outlaw) are not explicitly forbidden, some DMs feel that they should be. If so 1), and if not 2) 1) With the ridiculous amount of feats you're already receiving and the merging of all the skills I agree with Maat, SA variant Fighter will do you good. Plus even with that much HP, more HP never hurts... If you're feeling like you're missing out on Reflex saves, Insightful Reflexes will set you straight. Lose three levels on the Fighter side for three levels of Swashbuckler too. 2) Rogue X/ Swashbuckler Y (where Y>>>X) + Daring Outlaw Stats: INT>CON>DEX>WIS=CHA>STR Really the most important thing for these guys is spells, i second NiteCyper, take a look at this handbook.
