| #1Omni-WyvernilOct 02, 2009 17:27:53 | Another potential gestalt build: How well does the Shapeshift variant druid work in gestalts? I'd imagine one of the things that could be added to the build is extra base attack bonus, so here's a possible build. Druid(Shapeshift) 20|Monk 1/Barbarian(Lion Totem) 1/Warblade 14/Warshaper 4 Warshaper seems like it would work well with the shapeshift ability, and a level of Monk would add flurry and Wisdom to AC. Barbarian adds rage, pounce, and an extra savage flavor to the build, though it might be difficult to finagle a multiclass with monk because of alignment (perhaps add some justification to your backstory to convince your DM). Warblade lets you add extra base attack bonus and some manuevers to the build. A focus on Tiger Claw seems to work best thematically with the build. All in all, this would come out to a respectable +18 BAB, losing points only because of Monk and the first Warshaper level. What do you think? How would you optimize such a beast?
