Gestalt Shapeshifter, need the char op opionion

One is easy enough

Warblade 20 // wizard5/ abjurant champ 5/Incantrix 10
This character will use its 17th (7 incantrix ) ability of instant metamagic to make shapeshift persistant.

Warblade 16/ Wizard 4 ( used to offset caster level loss from mast. Trans. ) // Wiz 5 / Master Transmorphogist 10 / other 5

Opinions? I am currently 4 Warblade// 4 wizard and need to decide soon.

Its not all about the shapeshifting, but I do like it. Both can do it and do it fairly well. Which is better?

PS sorry for spelling of opinion

Duskblade 16/Wizard 4.

Using Blood Wind+Arcane Channeling+Arcane Wrath. Doing a 24 head hydra and a 12 tentacle dark tentacles.

However, if it was me I'd play the Master Transmogrifist. In a straight game the class is utterly useless, so if it appeals to you then take advantage of Gestalt and patch the lost casting (also, the bonuses to attacks on top of full BAB makes it pretty good).

In fact, change that build to Warblade 16/ Wizard 4 ( used to offset caster level loss from mast. Trans. ) // Wiz 5 / Master Transmorphogist 10 / Incantatrix 4 / Wizard +1 and you've got the best of both.

May 29, 2008 12:34:53 Thanks, yeah the master transmorphagist just seems like a fun idea to me. Like a planetar with beholder eyestalks and all kinds of crazy combos ( using otherworld to make my type outsider and get planetar with alter self )

or even a wholy different build

druid 5/ Planar Shephard 10/druid 5 // Wizard 15/incantrix 5

or a slight variation of this

Druid 5/ planar shephard 10/ natures warrior 5// Duskblade 20

I am partial to wizards, but its hard to argue with druids

Hmm just read master transmorphagist cannot take ( and I know I am mis-spelling that ) their own type as a favored form. Thats an issue.
