Gestalting craziness....Need some help

Jun 23, 2009 17:39:16 I'll cut to the chase... level 1 LN Skarn Monk/Incarnate gestalt. I know my way around an incarnate but I'm not so keen on the monk side of it...my first time ever using a monk. Here are my stats (DM gave us the array, racial bonuses not included.

STR 16
DEX 16
CON 18
INT 14
WIS 18
CHA 15

I don't have the book in front of me but I'll do my best to keep everything accurate.

1 Necrocarnum Acolyte (Necrocarnum zombies are just fun)

3 Imp init

6 split chakra/dual soulmeld (don't recall name, lets me bind 2 melds to
one chakra

9 Shape Soulmeld (phase cloak)

12 Bonus Essentia

15 Midnight Dodge

18 ???

I may have screwed up all the feats. Feel free to shuffle the feats around, the only ones I'm really bent on keeping is Shape Soulmeld (Phase Cloak) and Necrocarnum acolyte. I'm thinking that he's a melee brute who will essentially use his spikes to kick the snot out of people..though the idea of a grappler is a bit fun.

As I said starting at lel one meaning I get 2 soulmelds iirc. I'm thinking lightning bracers amd fellmist loak so that I can get into melee without getting the snot shot shot out of me. Thank you all in advance.

Tashal' the monk, and dip it, then roll straight into psychic warrior and never look back. Stacks up in cool and FUN ways.

Jun 25, 2009 1:15:40 I would think that a full BaB, high HD class would go well with incarnate, mostly because that's the major setback of the class. I would probably choose crusader or warblade. Swashbuckler is also a good choice, except for lack in heavier armor proficiencies.

Oh god after looking at the other suggestion a VoP psychic warrior//incarnate could really kick butt.

Jun 25, 2009 2:24:31 Needs some Shou Disciple and power attack action is my response.

Edit: While you're at it pick up "Shape Soulmeld: Dragon Tail" from Dragon Magic if you have a feat to kill and want a cheap extra attack. You don't even have to bind it to a chakra to get the extra tail attack.
