get the highest ac poasible whearing only steel silk

Feb 16, 2010 14:22:06 Don't know what steel silk is, but here's a no-armor option:

Wizard 6/Swiftblade 9/Abjurant Champion 5

Dex is 20 start + 5 level + 5 tome + 6 enhancement = 36 = +13 dodge AC
Greater Luminous Armor (all day) +8 AC + 5 Abj level + 4 (brightness effect) = +13 armor (+17 effectively)
Shield (swift cast) +4 Ac + 5 Abj level = +9 shield
Dragonskin = +5 natural (+ ER)

That's 10 + 13 + 17 + 9 + 5 = AC 54 with no armor....not too shabby

I'm others can do better but I happen to be playing something close to this right now so it came to mind.

Feb 18, 2010 12:59:01 steel silk is so thin it does not qualify as armor but gives u a ac bonous as if it was i am considerd non armored forget what book it was in my ac is 144 and going up.

It's not armor, but there's a shield like that from RoS called the Gnome Battle Cloak. There's also the Gnome Twist Cloak armor, but it counts as armor.

Feb 20, 2010 21:32:18 I'm playing a gestalt iaijutsu master5 paragon15 / factotum 20. and I have int to ac 2 times dex to ac and wis to ac from monk's belt. I also 2 hand my weapon so shield is a no go.
