| #1brood_beneathApr 08, 2008 6:20:07 | Although there are many other races that could suit a Fighter better, I'd like to find a way to play this combination and still be effective. The size penalties for trip, grapple, and various other combat-oriented moves that a Fighter will normally be encountering seems to be stacking up on me. Any ideas on how to build a gnomish Fighter to make it effective?![]() |

| #5pivotalApr 08, 2008 6:52:06 | eh, no need to bump that much. Anyways, I would go with something along the lines of a whisper gnome swordsage. Swordsages have manouvers that rely on relativly small size to the opponents and there are feats in complete warrior and races of stone (and perhaps races of destiny as well) that gives you bonuses towards larger enemies. |

| #7Dictum_MortuumApr 08, 2008 7:18:34 | there is another one in races of faerun for gnomes. |
| #8brood_beneathApr 08, 2008 15:38:46 | Alright. I'll ease up on the bumps. Thanks to all that posted, an' keep 'em coming if any others have input.;) |
| #9bonzaiApr 08, 2008 18:38:33 | I would do something like Swashbuckler 3/Rogue 2 (complete champion variant)/Invisable Blade 5/Blade Bravo 10 Yeah, you have a waisted feat with Rapier focus, but you become a feint/sneak attack master with some nice skills against larger opponents (practicly everyone). |
