By a strict reading of the SC, the spell Greater Visage of the Deity is providing an unnamed bonus to the ability scores with the exception of Charisma. This is because the spell Visage of the Deity specifies an enhancement bonus for that score.

I'd like to hear opinions on this issue, or if someone knows of a FAQ entry or errata that clarifies this.

I know the intent is most likely that they should all be enhancement bonuses, but I'm also working on a T.O. project so I'd like to hear what you all have to say on the issue.

Jan 31, 2009 12:51:02 I ruled that they are all unnamed bonuses that stack with everything, as none of them list a type of bonus, so by RAW they are untyped/unnamed. I don't think the errata covered this, but I will check.

Edit: It is not mentioned in any errata. I actually think this is a good choice for DMM Persist. Quite powerful for buffing.

Hi Otto, haven|t seen you in a while here.

The wording of the Greater version indicates unnamed bonuses. In fact, one could even argue that the +4 enhancement bonus from the Lesser version is gained in addition to the stat modifiers listed for the Greater one.

Jan 31, 2009 16:09:46 Thanks guys. I'm going to go with 'they are unnamed'. I've already got a higher enhancement bonus, so the +4 from lesser visage doesn't really matter in this case.

Jan 31, 2009 18:23:02 They are unnamed, I asked customer service about this numerous times and they were consistent. It is one of the reasons it's a higher level spells because the bonuses stack with everything.
