ok im playing a 6th lvl  2 wpn fighting rogue that still has to be the primary skillmonkey. my scores after racial adjustment and my 4th level ability point are 8,20,13,18,11,10.hes allowing me to take 2 flaws and a trait. what flaws should i take??? Were playing 3.5 but hes letting me use the guildthief prestige class from 3.0 and i can take the leadership feat as one of my bonus feats with the limitation that i dont get a cohort. Im mainly going to use it for a spy network. The campaign is going to be a City oriented campaign. im playing a strongheart halfling. as far as build goes im thinking rogue 4/Swordsage 1/guildthief1/ Swordsage 1/ guildthief 4/ rogue 9.with all of the available feats what do you guys think i should take and when??? . I was kinda wondering if with the amount of feats ill get if its possible to go with TWF and the confound the bigfolk tree. Its a smaller party, we have a 6th level Illusionist and a 6th level fighter TWF spiked chain. The party size is the only reason hes allowing flaws and traits. Also i know guild thief isnt the best prc to go but it fits with the campaign perfectly and ive always wanted to be able to play one.

WotC's mobile site blows goats for lunch money!

Ok, for the THIRD time now:
Flaws: shaky & murky-eyed
Classes: Swashbuckler4/Swordsage1/Guildthief (assuming you can qualify this way) 2/Swordsage1/XXX
Starting that way allows you to grab Assassin's Stance with your second level in SS.
Feats: 1) Weapon Finesse
1) TWF*
1) ???* (Craven, maybe?)
1) Leadership*
3) ???
5) Weapon Focus (Shadow Hand weapons)*
6) Improved TWF
9) Daring Outlaw
*=bonus feat

If you use your original class ideas, the feats change, since yoy'll have a lower BAB, and no use for Daring Outlaw. Either way, stick an extra level of either rogue or Guildthief in between the two levels of SS so you can get a third-level stance with SS2.

The only problem with swashbuckler that i have is the low skill points. i am the skill monkey and the melee damage.lowere levels the 4 swashbuckeler is going to hurt my skills too bad. my main concern is the 2 flaws and what kind of feat build i should use for this character. Ty though for pointing out i need to wait an extra level for my second SS level i almost completely overlooked that.right now i get 4 feats at 1st level, and im trying to figure out what i could use to maximize my character later on in the game. right now im looking at TWF for 1st and craven but all my other feats i want to take have higher prereqs. im looking at making it a twf and if i can manage in the feats id like to take the confound the bigfolk feat tree at least enough to get some use out of it if i cant get it all. Im going to get leadership for a bonus feat with guild thief so i dont have to worry about that.

D'oh! I knew weapon focus did; forgot weapon finesse had the same.

What about Open Minded for extra skill points?

Are you allowed campaign-specific material (specifically Eberron)?

Im allowed anything out of any 3.5 books and hes being pretty easygoing about feats that are usually broken like leadership because of our party size. originally i wanted to play a skillmonkey social rogue until i found out we only had 3 people playing. i was gonna go with the changeling and substitution levels but we needed a little extra damage and i figured with a spiked chain fighter i will get plenty of sneak attack from flanks and trips.

i was thinking maybe darkstalker as a 3rd feat but i still have a 4th to pick. im just trying to figure out how to optimize my rogue as far as feats go. also i dont mind other prcs and stuff as long as they give me my SA and good skill points. preferably 6+int per level. Before with the social rogue i was gonna focus on disguise and stuff for infiltration, but now i think im going to have to focus on stealth like a cat burgalur would.
