Using the Complete Champion paladin variant to nix spellcasting and get the feat at lvl 4. Cavalry charger really isn't that great, and I only took close quarters fighting out of GM plot hammering paranoia. "They just don't allow mounts here and would be very angry if you brought yours or summoned one period. So don't, or you make a DC 900 vs annihilation, and I get your dice." I'm not sure how fights go later on, but I was thinking I might drop trample and cavalry charger (on account of the size modifiers) for Divine Vigor and ....monkey grip? Improved init? Quick draw? Which brings to mind, is there anything official on a 2h lance being held in one hand refrence power attack bonus? Do you still get the 2h weapon bonus?? Holding a lance in 2 hands Looy slugging it would make it a blunt weapon right? that visual still bothers me. Also, if your mount has evasion do you get evasion? (it works the other way around, it only makes sense that it would come back around) If so, are there any evasion mounts? heh. First time I've ever mapped out a character to 20 btw. The "magic" if you can call it that, is that more than any other charging class I've seen within reason, this guy can defensive ride into position for a charge and charge over rough terrain and through friendly squares. |
