#1 ddangel Apr 23, 2008 18:55:21	Hi I have a duskblade 7/ psion 5/ cerebremancer 7 the thing is what should I use like spell and power for spell I like regroup, blade of blood but I don't know what to choose else for power ( egoist ) I like death urge, skate, adapt body... so here my character stats and everything Human/dragon-blooded lvl 19 Str 20 dex 22 con 24 int 28 wis 16 cha 16 if you need more info ( like for what kind of campaign Im playing in i'll reply it but right now im really busy ( at work so I dont have much time ) so I'll reply as soon as possible tnx in advanced for helping

Duskblade is a poor caster, and cerebremancer automatically makes you weaker since you've lost 7 manifester levels and 5 caster levels, and a lot of BAB. I don't know what your build's aim is! Is it dual caster? Gish? Psi-Gish? You have pretty good stats, it's a shame to waste them on a strange build like this. May I suggest a simple Egoist/Slayer build? I believe it gets BAB 16+, and it's pretty strong throughout it's career (no pesky d4s to get in your way). How DID you get those stats, though?
#5 ddangel Apr 23, 2008 20:03:23	Finish Work Hurra... For the stat it because of item I have like headband of intellec+6 etc. well Im looking for a gish like psionic. My goal is to break everything that is agaist my group and me :P classic enough powerful to use least pp for a greater DC. Like my DM is crack pot in the head he send use one of the angel lord( the seer ) from book of exalted deed but it was L-E but of a cursed item that held the power of an ancient evil god. I use death urge and work agaisnt him but it cost me like 60 something pp for the DC to be high enough to make him fail is save. The thing is there no arcane user except me in the group. But we do have a cleric. So dont mind that you guy tell pure psionic build that can help me out or even Manisfacana ( manisfester/Arcane )

#9 voran_illezou Apr 23, 2008 22:53:06	I've never been a big fan of swashbuckler. Instead of taking 3 levels in Swb, 3 levels in Warblade might be a better idea. Instead of +1 to Ref saves, you add your Int bonus. You get uncanny dodge, Effective Weapon Focus with any weapon, and maneuvers on top of that. If you sacrifice a level of something, and start out Psion, you can get Iron Heart Surge, one of the most powerful maneuvers.

I think egoist or nomad could both work for a gish, I'm no expert on psionics though and I'm AFB at the moment. ~Bowen
#16 friendlyfrog Apr 25, 2008 13:55:54	War mind would work a lot better than Psychic warrior. Duskblade 5/War mind 4/Cerebremancer 6/Abjurant champion 5 would have a BAB of 17, 5th level powers and 5th level spells. EDIT: Only 4th level spells... But I do think that It'd be better to play either an ordinary Psi-gish or an ordinary Duskblade. Or you could play a Duskblade that has the Phrenic template, that'd give you stronger "powers" (they're actually psi-like abilities, which is good because they're fully augmented for free) and stronger spells than through heavy multiclassing, even with that +2 LA.
