Need more information. Books, setting, allowances, etc.

That said, Human Warlock 5 / Ur Priest 2 / Eldritch Disciple 1 / Binder 1 / Hellfire Warlock 3 / Eldritch Disiple + 8

Human: Iron Will
1: Spell Focus: Evil
3: Wild Talent
6: Psionic Shot
9: Psionic Meditation
12: Greater Psionic Shot

lvl 17 Warlock invocations
level 10 Ur Priest casting

By level 12, you'll have 17d6 per round Eldritch Chains of either damage on your enemies or healing on your friends. 2 levels later it's 18d6 Cones

Well, we are getting some ideas going, slowly but surely

lets see if we can make this more interesting.....a cookie to whoever can make the best warlock build, based on Eldritch blast power, overall power and resilience, and of course...Awesomeness

Good Luck to all!

can't be noticably broken

Need further clarification as to 'noticeably broken'.

By no setting, does that mean anything setting-specific is disallowed?

And, what more do you want out of an Eldritch Blast build than 33d6 of damage or healing at level 12 that also gives you Rebuke Undead and access to 3rd level Cleric spells?

Dead god for the win!

I will say, Ur Priest might be a bit much. Still, that's an awesome build with just regular Cleric too ...

with the noticably-broken, what i mean is, if someone takes a passing glance at my sheets, Joe Schmoe Rules-Lawyer Guy wont freak out on me

yes, no setting-specific, unless you can "file off the serial numbers" to make it fit generic

true 33d6 EB is pretty damn good...

wait...wouldnt i want weapon finesse sometime?

You only need Weapon Finesse if you're going for an Eldritch Glaive focused build, don't have a way to get your Attack up without it (they are Touch attacks after all), and are playing in a range where BaB alone isn't enough.

Glaive builds with Hellfire Warlock rely on a controversial use of the Strongheart Vest soulmeld which recently was the subject of a Sage Advice. Better IMO to steer clear of the entire issue.

@ChristopherGroves:

It doesn't work as well with standard Cleric. You need to devote an extra level to Cleric to get 2nd level spells, leaving you without the level of Eldritch Disciple for the Healing Blast early and costing you 1d6 worth of Eldritch Blast at 20.

Agreed, but still good.

First: i saw the Sage advice, thanks tho for pointing that out again

Second: i have no idea what a "Glaive" is

Third: im kinda wondering why you included a level in Binder....

i kinda want to tweak the Warlock 5 / Ur Priest 2 / Eldritch Disciple 1 / Binder 1 / Hellfire Warlock 3 / Eldritch Disiple + 8 build, namely the feats, so i can make sure im gunna hit my mark and get past any SR, my DM said something about dragons....

Tweak away. I focused entirely on maximum Eldritch Blast output and utility. Dropping the Psionic Shot feats will free up for feats and only cost you 4d6 blast damage, it's really not the most efficient use of feats but I was working on the fly .

The single level of Binder allows you to bind Naberius. Among other other neat abilities, he grants Faster Ability Healing, which heals 1 damage per round to every damage ability. Hellfire Blast causes Con damage to gain the extra 6d6 blast damage.

Eldritch Glaive is an invocation from Dragon Magic. It lets you make melee touch attacks based on your Base Attack Bonus, and is one of the few ways to get multiple Eldritch Blasts in a round.

You never need Weapon Finesse for standard Eldritch Blast, it's a Ranged Touch Attack and therefor is already based on Dex.

You won't need a lot of help hitting your mark. At 12, you'll have a BaB of 9 and should have a Dex mod of at least +4. With a base +13 to hit, you'll almost always hit Touch AC's. Start with a higher Dex, and this'll translate down to lower levels as well. The most innacurate time of a Warlock's career is before level 5.

SR is an issue, but not before you'll have tools to deal with it. By 14 you'll start seeing lots of spell resistance. You'll also have access to Assay Spell Resistance and Vitriolic Blast. Ability Focus for DC's and Spell Penetration feats aren't a bad idea.

Good luck getting Ur Priest by your DM.

The "dead god" cheeze is an adaption, not RAW. Plus, it is ONLY meant for ex-clerics that lost their diety connection.
I mean, you dont see clerics taking Abjurant Champion, claiming that it talks about it in the adaption section.

The dead god doesnt give you any abilities...you still steal from other dieties as you have no connection with dead god.

So you probably wont qualify for Eld Disciple where your abilities are all diety-granted.

At the very least, you cannot be an evil ur priest and get the Healing Divine Gift, as it requires non-evil diety. Knowing the CO-boards, they will just say the dead god is neutral, not evil thus worming around that problem too.

Dont forget Vitrolic blast, which lets you bypass spell resistance.

IIRC Eldritch Disciple doesnt have a diety requirement. All you need is to be able to cast 2nd level divine spells and cast EB as 2d6.

Don't remember the skill prereqs.

Since Ur priest is a spell casting class, even though it's a PrC, ED should advance it.

Eldritch glaive allows you to shape your eldritch blast into something similar to a glaive and you can make a full round attack with it for a full round action instead of the standard action EB would otherwise take. It lasts till the beginning of your next turn.

This has been a point of contention, but with items that give you divine power, haste, additional full round actions,
Divine power = 4
Haste = 1
Belt of battle x2
Favor of Martyr + Greater Celerity x 3
so 15 attacks

Straight damage dealing using this is ok for a warlock, but you have to become really specialized, and it's very easy to disable this warlock, so think hard if you want to go through with it. Hellfire is important. So are bloodlines to beef up EB dmg. Greater chausable for a little more. None of the other use activated EB enhancing items help because they all use swift actions, which is once per turn. Means you wouldn't be able to use belt of battle either.
Maximize is good, combined with vitrolic so that you can ignore DR and SR.

138 per hit IIRC from another thread. Touch attacks, x 15.

I played something like this. Eventually ended up being dominated and killing my party.

IIRC Eldritch Disciple doesnt have a diety requirement.

The class doesn't, but many of the Gifts of the Divine Patron do. Specifically, the Healing Blast cannot be gained by someone who is evil (or who's deity is evil? I forget which). The opposite is true of the GotDP that grants Fire and Acid resistance - you must be evil (or worship evil deity; again, I forget which).

AFB, so I think it's only alignment restricted, but can't say for sure. Someone care to look it up?

1: The "dead god" cheese doesn't make a difference

2: The Ur-Priest isn't limited to ex-clerics, Special: The character must have no ability to cast divine spells. If such spellcasting ability was previously possessed (as with an ex-cleric), that ability is forever forsaken.

3: Abjurant Champion requires ARCANE spellcasting, clerics cast DIVINE spells.

4: The Ur-Priest steals power from the gods, the "dead god" cheese once again makes no difference

5: You could say that the Eldritch Disciple steals the gifts instead of receiving them.

6: Yes, as a matter of fact, you could worship a Neutral deity to get the Healing Gift, its not some secret loophole.

In conclusion, joemama1512, you have no idea what you are talking about.
