Help, I need to make a "God"

Unfortunatly every single player in my campaign, besides me, just quit. Cry  The good news is that my DM has been itching to start a new campaign. But the catch is that I will be soloing it until the end of the next semester, when I will be joined by my DM's ridiculously attractive best friend. I have never played solo before, and am both looking forward to it and about as scared as that rabbit who fell into the Abyss. I came to the boards in my hour of need as you have never failed me before infact you have blatently exeded my expectations. You guys are awsome!!!!!!!! Now onto my request:

Can you guys help me build a gestalt erudite(my fav class)/ wizard starting at ELC 17?
My DM uses an ability set of 18, 18, 16, 14, 12, 10. Obviously int. needs to be one of the 18's. The campaign is based in the same as our previous one so I know quite a bit about it. It is based in Glacia (a mostly sub zero arctic land full of nomads, a dwarven mining camp, and a few dragons) My DM rules that it is uniquepowers/level/day. All of the 3.5 books with a wizards trade mark are avalible and prestige classing can be doubled up, even dual casting ones, as long as they are not the same prestige class on both sides. I'm looking to make my character able to handle as much as the DM can through at me before I have to rest. Flaws are open. I'm starting with a dragon's horde(6*the normal level gp).

For all those who help: thank you very much, I couldn't have done it without you.

edit: the spell to power variant ability is open too;)

Well, dunno how much I can contribute, especially since I have very little knowledge about psionics and don't have complete psionic (erudite is from that one, isn't it?), nor have any experience with gestalt, but hell, for encouragement's sake and to relieve you from the 0 replies you had so far, I'll give it a try.

You ask for a build that can handle as much as possible before having to rest. With that in mind, I'd include in one half of the gestalt either levels of binder, or levels from a martial adept class. Binder grants mostly contious effects, it more powerful abilities can be used once every 5 rounds. Manouvers from tome of battle are also recovered after every fight. So every fight, you would have a lot of options ready, even without spells/powers. Additional advantage of binder: the vestige buer grants fast healing, so full healing between combats is ensured (even though it's a pretty sucky vestige besides that).

So, the nice thing is that both martial adept classes and the binder have a prestige class that also improves casting: anima mage & jade phoenix mage. Talk to you DM to adapt 1 of them into working with psionics instead of spells, & you can have a character that does a decent amount of spellcasting, psionics, binding & martial manouvers.

Before going more detailed into stuff like items & feats, I (and most other folks here, I guess) would need to have more info in which direction you want to take the character.

Yay a reply, thanks

As for binder and a martial adept, I have played neither but will look it up now. And for direction, besides survival, I would like him to be able to blast the Abyss out of anything that gets close to him and still have some utility when the day is done. As for melee, I would prefer to be able to get into the middle of combat and still be able to manifest, maybe cast too if I can get it without  ruining everythin else. Healing should be considered but I don't know how to implement if, I would rether not focus on it all to much. For non-combat situations, I need to be able to talk my way out of most situations that don't require fighting. Traps might be able to be covered by the erudite or the other side of the build.

Oh and as for not having complete psionic, the erudite is basically what would happen if a wizard and a psion mixed.  It has an unlimited amount of powers known, but to balance it it can only manifest a limited number of different powers. The spell to power can be found here.

Now if you guys here on the boards would be so kind as to help me pick feats, martial manuvers, and the other class goodies that I will need to make a complete character. thanks again to all those who help.

Bad optimizer! You are building an Int based character and you dare look at Swordsage. I'd recommend a warblade over a swordsage for the synergy and the better refresh method, but you want Swordsage so I'll do my best to help with that. Okay. OKAY!! (But first I'll show what I would do).

So an obvious start is Erudite 3||Wizard 3 then shift both of them to Cebremancer, finish up with four levels of either one or a prestige class that boosts one (it is more important to get 9th level abilities than keeping both sides high). And focus on your marital adept class with your 14 remaining levels on one side. (I love Incantatrix so let's aim for that).

Okay so, if you want to go  crazy. Here's what I'd do: Warblade 5/Unarmed Swordsage 4/Master of Nine 5.

The problem is that MoN has crazy feat prereq's  so your feats are a little bit focused. Here's what I'd reccomend, focusing on being redonkulous to kill more than anything else.

Going human with two flaws. Feat breakdown would like this:

Flaw1: Dodge (prereq)
Flaw2: Blind Fight (prereq)
Human: Improved Initiative (prereq)
1st: Extend Spell
Erudite: Spell to Power
3rd: Quicken Power
6th: Adaptive Style (Prereq0
WB Bonus: Iron Will (Prereq)
9th: Instant Clarity (Swift action to regain Psionic Focus)
12th: Persistent Spell
15th: Practiced Manifester
Inc Bonus: 2x Metamagic Feats

Final build level benefits: 17th level wizard casting. 13th level manifesting with 17th ML. 15th level martial adept with access to all disciplines.

I'd recommend buying a spellcraft bonus item to make optimal use of Metamagic effect. I'd choose abjuration or conjuration as a specialty. When you are picking your maneuvers and stances be sure to look into Devoted Spirit for some healing when you get to Master of the Nine levels.

This character will temporarily take on multi-classing penalties, but since the final values are safe your DM should be nice.

Just because I like swordsage doesn't mean I have to take it. And after looking at warblade again, it looks like it would fit the character concept better.  out of curiosity what would happen if I went:
Erudite 3/wizard 3 then Cerebremancer 10/warblade 10 then  erudite 1/slayer1 then finish it out with jade Phoenix mage 6/slayer 6 that brings me to lvl 20

If I'm not mistaken this would give me full manifesting, 17 of arcane casting, 16 martial adept. How would this compare to houkama's?????
#9

Dec 06, 2009 4:44:18

Your build is stronger for manifesting, and possibly overall. Martial adept is not as strong as casting or manifesting so the hit to adept will be be negligible. It also frees up feat selection quite a bit.

The biggest downside is Devoted Spirit and Desert Wind's 9th level maneuver's aren't so great. If you go epic, I would hop into epic cerebremancer and pick up warblade or Master of Nine levels.

On the other hand if you max Jade Phoenix you do get that very nice attack/heal.

Well, if you make a caster with some combat ability I recommend a Duskblade...
Cleric is probabbly the best choise if you wanna play a True Ultimate God Of War.
17th Cleric , 13 Duskblade and maybe a prestige class like Dervish would be nice.
Any way you can use Wizard instead of Cleric but you can't heal and you don't have
Slay Living or something like that : P , you can use Light Armor if you use this build
with Dervish or Heavy Armor if you make a WarriorWardBlade and even with Swordsage
you can add Wis as Armor Class...

As you can see
17th Spellcaster Class (you can't use psion 'cause you can only channel spell)
13th Duskblade
10th other random class like
                                              -Dervish
                                              -Renger(5th) Tempest(5th)
                                              -Warrion
                                              -Warblade
and so on...

Max 2wf and finally if you use the Warrior build with lots of talent take the buckler spec.
talent (I think it's in the Complete Warrior ^^ sorry I don't have this complete right now...
don't kill me XD), with this talent you can add the bonus (AC and special) of you're buckler
even with the 2wf talents (+5 havy Fortification it's always a good idea).

Hope this help and sorry 4my bad english ^^
see ya

As for healing I could just use some Cheese to get healng. If you use the erudite's spell to power from here you can get arcane spells. Then you can learn thing like healing by finding someone that can learn divine spells as arcane. I wouldn't even have to do leg work cuz I'm starting at ELC17 so I could just write it into my background. Not that I don't like your idea, I just like the idea of being tied to a book. If there is a way to do that with something like a cleric that can heal, I'll go for it. Maybe Archivist but I'm AFB at the moment so I can't look it up.

If you are going to mix it with duskblade, do not do cleric, either do cloistered cleric (for the extra skill points, domain, and LORE) or archivist.  Archivist does everything cleric does but gives you class abilities, more spell selection, and it reduces mad.
#13

hellfirewarlock

Dec 06, 2009 13:08:32
I don't really see how duskblade would help me all that much but if someone were to take the time to explain, I might use it.

How about this for the ability to heal:

Erudite 3/archivist 3 then psionic theurge 10/warblade 10 then  erudite 1/slayer1 then finish it out with Runecaster 6/slayer 6 that brings me to lvl 20

That should give me some deacent healing, along with full manifesting but I would only get 10 lvls of martial adept. I don't have TOB on me so I can't look up any prestige classes that combine martial adept and divine casting.
#14

hellfirewarlock

Dec 06, 2009 18:39:33
I could do this to get all of runecaster:

Erudite 3/archivist 3 then slayer1/erudite 1 then runecaster 9/slayer9 then Runecaster1/erudite1finishing with psionic theurge6/warblade6 then that brings me to lvl 20

If I'm not mistaken that gives me 20 manifesting, 19 divine casting but unfortunatly that leaves me with only 6 lvls of martial manuvers...

What do we think??? They all seem intrusting but I don't know which would be the most powerful.

Hey sorry but I made a really big mistake on both my builds. I forgot to take into acount the Pre. +4 bab for slayer. I'll fix the builds tonight and post them tomarrow. Again sorry.  And if anyone has any thoughts as to feats for the character conscept, The builds won't change to much. But If anyone has any builds that might serve better let me know, plz.  I will also work up some alternate builds that I'll have you guys work look at to tell me of the potential pros and cons of each. Thanks again.

OK I redid the build but I would love to hear your guys' suggestions

1Erudite1/Archivist1
2Erudite2/Archivist2
3Erudite3/Archivist3
4Psionic Theurge1/x1(x=anything with +1 bab at each lvl)
5Psionic Theurge2/x2
6Erudite4/Combat Medic1
7Erudite5/Combat Medic2
8Slayer1/Psionic Theurge3
9Slayer2/Combat Medic3
10Slayer3/Combat Medic4
11Slayer4/Combat Medic5
12Psionic Theurge4/Hospitaler1
13Slayer5/Hospitaler2
14Slayer6/Hospitaler3
15Slayer7/Hospitaler4
16Psionic Theurge5/Hospitaler5
17Slayer8/Hospitaler6
18Slayer9/Hospitaler7
19Slayer10/Hospitaler8
20Psionic Theurge6/Hospitaler9

As for feats, If I didn't make mistakes I have 12(7 from lvling, 1 race[human], 2 flaws, and 2 psionic)
I know I have to take Mounted combat and Ride-by-attack before 12,track before 8, and dodge before 6, I would like to be able to stick mainly to feats that will help both my manifesting and casting, but a few combat feats could be useful.

suggestions needed and defiantlywelcomed. thanks to all and your help is appreciated.

Just a suggestion. Don't use hospitaler for extending your casting. There are much better classes, contemplative would be my first choice since grabbing a domain get net you a feat, new spells, and/or a cool special ability.

If you are not so set on dual casting. There are some sweet ways to get very versatile and potent abilities. A Wildshape Ranger 5 /Warforged Juggernaut 5/ Master of Many Forms 10 has a very long list of immunities can gain fast healing rather easily and since the heal construct spells are arcane, it wouldn't take away from your ability to heal yourself. This may not be as flashy as other options, and lacks the oomph of a second spellcasting class, but if survivabilities the issue, this can easily net you some of the highest ACs and hefty immunities, plus over the course of Wildshapes last a long time.. Also, if you go this route, I would strongly advice picking up Steadfast Determination (PHB2) since it won't be unusual for you to have an obscenely high constitution.

Check out the MMF bible for more info.

Ill check it out. I'm not nessacarelly set on dual casting, I just like the though of "Hum, should I curse you with the power of the gods, or maybe just blow you up with my mind? Oh, wait thats right I can do both.Whoops..."

But I will definatly check it out but I think your build needs me to a warforged which unforutnatly is one of the few races I don't really like the flavor of... But i'll still check it out. I never will know if I really don't like em without looking into them

I just check out the master of many forms, and while I only was able to glance at its abilities, it just doesn't fit the vague character concept I have. Now if I could get the warforged to look human I would love to play one. the idea of "I'm human" failed AC check latter "no you are not. you are a robot." is just great for RP and I kinda like the Artificer too, ya I know another "spell casting" class. shame on me for being attracted to "magic" so much...
#21

houkama

Dec 09, 2009 10:44:44

Well, the big advantage of contemplative is that it is full casting. Which is a plus, and it grants bonus domains, but it also adds some decent other abilities. The obvious cut off point is level 6, which would net you two domains, immunity to poisons and diseases, slippery mind, and 24 points of healing per day. Just a suggestion.

Artificers are also great. They are better persistomancers than the best of them if you have a high UMD check. Even if you don't a rod of high power spells and a lot of metamagic item castings can net you persisted everything-good. I can speak from experience that the proper selection of buffs will do leaps and bounds for your survivability.

What book is contemplative from?  And does anyone know if there is a duel prestige class for the Artificer and either divine casting or psionics. I guess I could make my own but I would kinda like to know if there is an offical version. And does anyone know if the Psionic Artificer from magic of eberron qualifies for psionic prestige classes? if it does are there any prestige classes that combine two differnt manifesting classes?

Thanks

I'm gonna work up a build for a Psionic Artificer and Archivist Along with one for a Psionic Artificer and an Erudite. Ill also work up prestige class for a duel artificer/caster. I'll need you guys to tell me if you think it is balanced too
#24

houkama

Dec 10, 2009 3:18:43
Well. A class that tried to dual progress infusions would not be nearly as valuable as the artificer class, since half the reason why it is so powerful is all the free feats. Assuming you can create all your own stuff and the XP bonuses stack. A psionic artificer/artificer would be teh shizz. Because you could dedicate one side, probably psionics, to defense and special abilities, and dedicate the other side to nuking feats.

The one downside is that you are out one skill from a normal artificer, since you have to keep both your UMD and UPD up to the top. Depending on how crazy your DM is, you could even grab the Heir of Siberys Mark of Making and have, that's right 15 cubic feet of anything non magical 1/day. In other words, infinite wealth.

Something like this

The Psificer

Class Features:
Artificer feats: the Psificer continues to gain feats as an Artificer at a slightly slower pace. Efectivilly the Psificer adds 2/3 his lvls in the Psificer prestige class inorder to figure out how many total artificer feats. This includes both nonspesific artificer feats(ex. any from the Artificer's bonus feats) and the craft feats granted by the Artificer base class.

Powers Known: At every level indicated on the class table, the Psificer gains additional power points per day and access to new powers as if he had also gained a level in whatever manifesting class he belonged to before he added the prestige class. He does not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained. This essentially means that he adds the level of Psificer to the level of whatever manifesting class the character has, and then determines power points per day, powers known, and manifester level accordingly.

If a character had more than one manifesting class before he became a Psificer, he must decide to which class he adds the new level of Psificer for the purpose of determining power points per day, powers known, and manifester level.

Infusions per Day

When a new Psificer level is gained, the character gains new infusions per day as if she had also gained a level in whatever infusion granting class she belonged to before she added the prestige class. She does not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained. This essentially means that she adds the level of Psificer to the level of whatever other infusion granting class the character has, and then determines infusions per day and caster level accordingly.

If a character had more than one infusion granting class before she became an Psificer, she must decide to which class she adds each level of Psificer for the purpose of determining infusions per day.

I'm bad at judging classes. But just to clarify. That gives 2/3 manifesting and 2/3 artificer feats and infusions?

If that is it, then I would say it is too powerful. At best I'd let you swing 2/3 manifestin and infusing with 1/2 feats.
#29

It would give full infusions... But I thnk you got that. As for being too powerful, I have never created my own prestige class before, just adapted them a little. So you are probebly right, I just hate to cut it down much more, but I guess I'll have to inorder for balance... Unless anyone has any ideas that will alow me not to do so.....

I could go straight erudite/artificer. I know it doesn't have the flair of prestige classing, but I could do that with the  massive amounts of feats that would give me. I could also create Crystal golems to fight with me and lessen the amount of front line work I have to do. Do you know if there is a way to channel my powers through my weapons, simmilar to the duskblades ability or the arcane channel of  the spellsword from CW?????

The problem with the current build your doing is that once it is out of power points for the day then it can no longer function at full ability. I would recommend you go for a melee build with some psionic levels for the power points you want.

The Hellreaver prestiege class (fiendish codex II) is a great way to access self healing in an unlimited reserve. A 10th level hellreaver with a charasma of 10 can heal 300 HP every encounter. It takes a swift action to heal 30 HP each round and you can do it more times with a higher charisma.

I'd recommend something like

Warblade 20/ Erudite 10 / Hellreaver 10

With this you can have 2 Stances active at a time (once you reach lvl 20), some psionics and unlimited healing.

#33

waazraath

Dec 13, 2009 16:40:18
If you go hellreaver, you definitely want a level of binder to bind naberius and heal 1 ability damage/round. Cause the hellreaver gets his special ability from "holy fury points", based on class level + charisma bonus, but you can refresh those points with some con damage. With binder, you have unlimited boost on saves, AC, to hit an damage vs evil & healing.

As for hellreaver, I really hate to give up higher lvl powers, but I could use it for my other side. And as for running outa PP, isn't there a feat that lets me take it from those that I attack??? I think I remember reading of one, I just can't remember where or its name...

And binder+hellreaver is a must, if I read it right.

Edit: I ment that if I took Lvls in Hellreaver, that I had to take a lvl of binder

Now I know that it doesn't have any psionic Cry but it would give me inifinate healling, rage, and full divine casting If I really wanted to I could even throw in runecaster from PGtF and shore up the lvls where I wouldn't get +casting lvl, with archivist lvls on the other side. I have a proposition for you; it’s based off the Duskblade’s full attack channel spell ability.

Race:  Bamboo Spirit Folk   -- >  Grants Trackless Step

Level  Class 1/Class 2                                                           Feats and Special Abilities

    1        Wiz */Cleric                                 2-Weapon Fighting, Extend Spell, Extra Turning, persist spell

    2        Wiz */Cleric

    3        Wiz */Cleric                                      Exotic Weapon Prof (Kusari-gama)

    4        Mystic Theurge/ Duskblade

    5        Mystic Theurge/ Duskblade

    6        Arcane Hierophant / Duskblade     Devine Metamagic (Persist Spell)

    8        Arcane Hierophant / Duskblade

    9        Arcane Hierophant / Duskblade     Improved 2-Weapon Fighting

    10       Arcane Hierophant / Duskblade

    11       Arcane Hierophant / Duskblade

    12       Arcane Hierophant / Duskblade     Greater 2-Weapon Fightinmg

    13       Arcane Hierophant / Duskblade

    14       Arcane Hierophant / Duskblade

    15       Arcane Hierophant / Duskblade     Extra Turning

    16       Mystic Theurge/ Duskblade

    17       Mystic Theurge/ Duskblade

* Fighter feat Variant

Base Stats:  Str 10 Dex 16 con 12  Int 18  Wis 18 Cha 14

Stats: Modifications 3 to dex from levels 1 to int from level i to wis via Tome

BAB +16
Casting :  Wiz 17
                Cleric 17
                Duskblade 14
Turn attempts: 13 [3+2 (cha) +8 (extra turning)]
                        Reliquary Holy Symbol (MIC) will bring this to 15 attempts which gives 2 persisted spells.

Burn an 8th level spell for the wiz side to persist Wrathstrike every day + 2 more persisted spells from the cleric side.  Load up on touch spells and go to town

In summery, you have a full casting wiz and cleric, full attack channel spell, ignore arcane spell failure in non metallic armor (from arcane Hierophant),  7 attacks per round with reach all of which are made as touch attacks .  This makes for one nearly infinitely versatile god class.

Also, just for the fun of it, you can go into OA and get the Chahar-aina and Dastana both of which improve armor by +1 and both can be added to a chain shirrt.

With these 2 up grades you can make a Dark Leaf Chain Shirt 6 AC, 0 ACP, and +5 max dex.

I like it. I do, but it spurned an idea.

What do you think of:

Erudite3/Archivist3+Psychic theurge10/Wizard10+Cerebremancer(sp?)7/Archivist7(or other full divine single caster, maybe contemplative if I remember right)

20 manifesting, 20 divine, and 17 arcane doesn't sound bad. But I couldn't get anywhere close to melee.

Another good thing about your's is that the feat Wild Cohort will let me take advantage of the fimiliar animal or what ever it's called from Arcane Heirphant(sp?)

I considered an arcane/divine/manifester, hoverer since you are running a solo campaign i wanted to cover as many of the classic character roles as possible.  So I included the duskblade because it allows full attack and spell casting simultaneously, while keeping your armor strong.  Thus you can "tank" for your caster side or hang back and just cast as the situation dictates.  Also in the unlikely event that you gets AMFed you are still a competent fighter if gimped.

True I hadn't thought of that....
I still really want to be as versital as possible and casting can cover a lot of weakpoints, but hit points and BAB are not really one of those. Cry

I wonder if my DM would let me slap a Divine score of 30 on any character I make. I kinda doubt it though. even moreCryCryCry

Any ideas??? I like TaiSharShaidar's build but I still would like to incorporate Psionics and artificer if possible. So much I want so little I can have.

Artificer20/Fighter9+Binder1+Hellreaver10 might be interusting...

As could a whole lot of other things...

Psionic artificer could be used too...

swiftblade prc might be good for someone to look at, but I don't really know. Never used it before.

Swiftblades are great. I thought I recommended them before. They really max out at 9th level unless you really like Time Stop. Here's a hellreaver/swiftblade/shadowcraft mage build.

Forest Gnome
Str: 14 Dex: 16 Con: 18 Int: 18 Wis: 12 Cha: 10
Flaws: Murkey Eyed, Vulnerable

Illusionist 1(Gnome Racial Variant) || Swashbuckler 1 - Dodge, Iron Will, Extend Spell (Weapon Finesse)
Illusionist 2 || Swashbuckler 2
Illusionist 3 || Swashbuckler 3 - Mobility
Illusionist 4 || Swashbuckler 3/ Fighter 1 - Power Attack (Attribute Bonus to Wisdom)
Illusionist 5 (Gnome Racial Variant) || Swashbuckler 3/ Fighter 2 - Combat Reflexes
Illusionist 5/ Swiftblade 1 || Swashbuckler 3/ Fighter 2/ Incantatrix 1 -  Earth Sense, Heighten Spell (Spring Attack)
Illusionist 5/ Swiftblade 2 || Swashbuckler 3/ Fighter 2/ Incantatrix 1/ Binder 1
Illusionist 5/ Swiftblade 3 || Swashbuckler 3/ Fighter 2/ Incantatrix 1/ Binder 1/ Hellreaver 1
Illusionist 5/ Swiftblade 4 || Swashbuckler 3/ Fighter 2/ Incantatrix 2/ Binder 1/ Hellreaver 1 - Earth Spell
Illusionist 5/ Swiftblade 5 || Swashbuckler 3/ Fighter 2/ Incantatrix 2/ Binder 1/ Hellreaver 2
Illusionist 5/ Swiftblade 6 || Swashbuckler 3/ Fighter 2/ Incantatrix 2/ Binder 1/ Hellreaver 3
Illusionist 5/ Swiftblade 7 || Swashbuckler 3/ Fighter 2/ Incantatrix 3/ Binder 1/ Hellreaver 3 - Spell Focus (illusion)
Illusionist 5/ Swiftblade 8 || Swashbuckler 3/ Fighter 2/ Incantatrix 3/ Binder 1/ Hellreaver 4
Illusionist 5/ Swiftblade 9 || Swashbuckler 3/ Fighter 2/ Incantatrix 3/ Binder 1/ Hellreaver 5
Illusionist 5/ Swiftblade 9/ Shadowcraft Mage 1 || Swashbuckler 3/ Fighter 2/ Incantatrix 3/ Binder 1/ Hellreaver 6 - Residual Magic
Illusionist 5/ Swiftblade 9/ Shadowcraft Mage 2 || Swashbuckler 3/ Fighter 2/ Incantatrix 3/ Binder 1/ Hellreaver 7
Illusionist 5/ Swiftblade 9/ Shadowcraft Mage 3 || Swashbuckler 3/ Fighter 2/ Incantatrix 3/ Binder 1/ Hellreaver 8
Illusionist 5/ Swiftblade 9/ Shadowcraft Mage 4 || Swashbuckler 3/ Fighter 2/ Incantatrix 3/ Binder 1/ Hellreaver 9 - Arcane Thesis (Silent Image)
Illusionist 5/ Swiftblade 9/ Shadowcraft Mage 5 || Swashbuckler 3/ Fighter 2/ Incantatrix 3/ Binder 1/ Hellreaver 10
Illusionist 5/ Swiftblade 10/ Shadowcraft Mage 5 || Swashbuckler 3/ Fighter 2/ Incantatrix 4/ Binder 1/ Hellreaver 10 - Persistent Spell

I would drop Evocation and Enchantment to start. Then it would be between Necro and Conjuration for me. This is an extremely potent build for Summoning, and I love the abuse abilities of Earth spell, if that isn't for you- drop gnome for human and try another specialist wizard. Maybe a Conjurer/ Malvonvoker.

Sounds interusting, I like it a lot. It is up there with the Artificer/Archivist/Erudite build in terms of how much I like. I wonder if I can play two characters??? Maybe, I could have the Swiftblade be a semisecondary character. Maybe using him for every other adventure to help me.... I'll ask my DM....

I could stay simple but It might not get me the survival of a more complex character and go straight erudite/artificer???? It wouldn't have to pure combat capabilities as some of the builds we have disscused but can anything really be defeated if it is protected by over 9,000 constructs????????

I think we reached the point where my advise is "just go with what you like most". Under these circumstances, you can end up with such insanely powerful characters, that their effectivness is probably limited by a) how liberal your DM is and b) how complex characters you are able to run (from my experience, players starting at this high level with a character they're not familiar with won't run it to their max anyhow, there is just too much info). So just pick an option you like most, tweak it to your liking and go with it.

Yeah. The only suggestion I have left if you go artificer be sure not to forget healing wands/spells etc.
