Aug 02, 2009 23:26:33 Ok, I was reading Panteão D20 (for any brazilians in the forum or anyone who know of the book) where I came upon a certain elven avatar. So far so good, most of the avatars are not all that optimized (they all have classes from SRD or are custom monsters) but that thing was quite .

Fighter 6/wizard 6/ Arcane Archer 10

Noteworty feats: Combat expertise, Point Blanck shot feat tree (except shot on the run), weapon expertise (longsword/longbow) with a diferent name.

I mean? REALLY? That's the best they could come up as a 22 lvl epic char? Sure she have a bunch of special powers as an avatar, but so do everyone else! No wonder she was owned in combat...

So, can you Masters of CharOp boards come up with a better build for the poor thing? Unfortunately SRD only

The spirit of the build must be an arcane gish, either bow focused or TWF focused. Bard/Ranger levels are aceptable.

Aug 03, 2009 2:45:04 My first suggestion if nothing else is replace Warrior with Fighter.

if you wonder how that's a gish:
SHAPECHANGE IS WOOT.
you can also timestop and use imbue arrow to fire off spells. target them at people's squares, the arrows will stop in the air and fly on when the timestop ends.

I don't want to resort to polimorph yet :p .

The best I could come up is either Wizard 6/Figther 2/Arcane Archer 2/ Eldritch Knight 10 or Wizard 6/Ranger 2/Arcane Archer 2/ Eldritch Knight 10 or Bard 6/Ranger 2/Arcane Archer 2/Eldritch Knight 10.

My charop-fu is ... questionable.

Anything from SRD is ok. But try to refrain from using psionics at first.
