Hey everybody,

I need to roll up a new character and I want to make a sticky character by using anvil of thunder with combat rythem. This is what I got so far:

Human WF Warhammer
Barbarian1 TWF (lion totem and whirling frenzy variants)
Fighter1 Power Attack
Warblade1 Extra Rage
Warblade2
Swordsage1 WF Handaxe
Fighter2 Improved Sunder,  Anvil of Thunder
Warblade3
Warblade4
Warblade5 Iron Heart Aura, Stormguard Warrior

Stances: Punishing Stance, Hunter’s Sense, Open (depends on rest of the build I guess)

Warblade Maneuvers: Steel Wind, Moment of Perfect Mind, Leading the Attack, Battle Leader’s Charge, Iron Heart Surge, White Raven Tactics replaces steel wind, Open (Lion’s Roar, Covering Strike, Fountain of Blood and Lightning Recovery would all be nice here. Possibly a diamond mind maneuver for future higher level diamond mind maneuvers)

Swordsage Maneuvers: Burning Blade, Flashing Sun, Cloak of Deception, Shadow Jaunt, Countercharge, Sudden Leap

Str16, Dex16, Con14, Int12, Wis11, Cha7

As for gear, I guess I should use gloves of the balanced hand to get ITWF. Haven't really thought about the rest yet.

Things that would fit this character well would be
- the dancing mongoose and raging mongoose maneuvers
- the avalanche of blades maneuver for further combat rythem abuse
- bloodclaw master prestige class would go well with the twf
- iron heart focus, diamond mind defense, anything that gives this character higher saves. I generally like my saves as high as possible!
- at this point I don't really have much out of combat uses. Anything that could make my a better party member out of combat is welcome.
- leap attack could combine well with the lion totem and all the extra attacks. It would make power attack a lot more usefull with twf. I could also use jump for some tiger claw maneuvers I guess.
- other things that are always nice to have on a character like this would be adaptive style, combat reflexes (possibly with itwf and double hit or robilar's gambit), improved initiative

As I'm writing this I'm thinking maybe I should focus less on the martial arts and use something like occult slayer on this character. I really don't know how I could get the most out of this idea.

There are 4 other players. One will make a Warlock/Rogue character with a lot of social skills, another one will play a druid and I have no idea what the other 2 will play.

Books we can use are PHB1+2, MM1, DMG1, all complete books except complete psionics, tome of battle, magic item compendium, spell compendium and unearthed arcane and the game will probably end around lvl15.

How would you turn this character idea into a solid character?
