Help me locate an ability!

Apr 10, 2008 22:04:02 I know I've seen it somewhere, but I can't remember for my life the name of the ability that allows you to deal twice your perform check in damage. I can't remember whether it's a class ability, a feat or even a spell, and I've looked all over for it. Help!

Apr 10, 2008 22:27:32 This probably isn't what you're looking for, but a Bard 4/Warblade 9 with the Melodic Casting feat (and probably song of the white raven but that's irrelevant) can do it every other round with the Greater Insightful Strike maneuver

the Lord of the Dance build thread may have other tricks

Apr 10, 2008 22:37:38 I've seen the Lord of the Dance thread, that's where I saw someone mention it. Unfortunately, they never mentioned which ability was it.

check number three on my sign.

I'm looking it over right now, but I can't seem to find. I'll ask there if I can't find it, though. Thanks.

Apr 10, 2008 22:55:00 Well, going off of this post in Lord of the Dance, I think they are talking about the Greater Insightful Strike maneuver with either Melodic casting or a continuous undersong effect to be able to replace concentration checks with perform checks.

Which is why the builds in that thread had at least 2 levels of warblade to get to initiator level 11 and pick up that maneuver.

Unless someone finds another way

Well, going off of this post in Lord of the Dance, I think they are talking about the Greater Insightful Strike maneuver with either Melodic casting or a continuous undersong effect to be able to replace concentration checks with perform checks.

Which is why the builds in that thread had at least 2 levels of warblade to get to initiator level 11 and pick up that maneuver.

Unless someone finds another way
