Ok so my DM killed 3/5 of the party. I rolled these stats 15, 15, 12, 10, 11, 13. I am personally restricted to the PHB.I like to Multiclass, and do damage, but we need a divine spell caster. HELP!?!

Ranger/Druid?
Ideas...?

What the hell.

I can't even be arsed rickrolling you to the posting guidelines.

Play a druid. That's the best you'll get from me.

Multiclassing for multiclassing's sake is the dumbest idea I've ever heard.

That is called Kung-Fu bear. Don't play it, it's weird.

Gnomes make decent druids. Try to bargain for a forest gnome though. It's from MM. http://www.systemreferencedocuments.org/35/sovelior_sage/monstersG.html#forest-gnome

And I love druids. (=

That's... urgh...

I'll say it only once - YOU DON'T NEED HEALER!
geesh you'd think people will get it sometime...

If you want us to help you you need to state what you feel like playing. and btw, for gnomes I'd always go the illusion master path.

That's somewhat misleading. In a core-only game (OP said PHB only), having someone around who can cast restoration, remove disease, break enchantment, and some other related spells is really handy. Many of the tricks listed in your link are based outside the PHB. You don't need the cleric/druid to focus on healing, but a divine caster is pretty handy, especially once you start facing high-level disease-carrying monsters.

Heck, as a DM I've used monsters that will just outright kill people unless they get a remove disease within a few rounds. Clerics need to keep that around.

Once you start deviating from Core (say, bring in the SpC and MIC), you get even more incentive to have a divine caster, but not one who focuses on healing. Resurgence, as a 1st-level spell, will get you out of a lot of jams. Much easier than remove disease in certain circumstances (mummy rot, lycanthropy). Mass Resist Energy gives the entire party 20+ resist to an element for 10 min/lev. That can break encounters wide open. Mass conviction is +3 to all saves to the whole party for 10 min/lev.

So, yeah, you don't need a dedicated healer, but every party should have a well-build divine caster who can throw around a tiny bit of healing (especially if healing belts aren't available) and do the utility buffing and status healing thing. Unless you like being blind. Because I tell you what, I like blinding PCs!

I'm sure you are right, ofcourse. But that wasn't my point.
If you look at the original post you notice the following:
I like to Multiclass, and do damage, but we need a divine spell caster.

As it is stated, it is seems that the guys friends nudge him to play a divine role for the party, probably using the "we need healer" clich'e.

All I'm saying that he should stat what he would like to do and we will go from there. Check my sig's link for posting guidelines for full-length of this advice.
