| #1manijinMar 26, 2010 16:38:35 | Hi, all. Monks are kinda new to me (I normally play heavier or more caster-types), but I got this really fun idea which fits perfectly with the Enlightened Fist. However, I'm not familiar with the territory, so I was wondering if I could get some help from you wonderful people out there in Internet-land. Couple of things: 1) Restriced to PHB I, PHB II, Completes (-Psionic/Scoundrel/Champion), and Races of the Wild, Destiny, and Stone 2) Currently planning on Monk 1/Sorcerer 4/Enlightened Fist --. This allows me to take the multi-class feat that allows you to add your Charisma Modifier to AC instead of Wisdom. 3) For stats, we're using 5d6, drop lowest 2, rolled 8 times (pick top 6). I feel like this is why I can get away with the MAD monk/sorcerer. Additionally, we get another bonus feat at level 1, so I'm thinking human so I can pick up all of the prereq's for Enlightened Fist, plus maybe Improved Natural Attack/Weapon Focus. Anybody that's a better optimizer than I am, please help me out. *Edit: I'm also planning on picking up Practiced Spellcaster around level 9 or so. |

Is there any chance you can get races of the dragon for there is an awesome spell for monks called greater mighty wallop. Wizard/Sorc 3 Gives you up to 4 size increases if your base size is medium for your weapon damage. |

Champ 5/ EF 5 Because you need access to 2nd level spells to become an Enlightened Fist. *Edit: Ooo.... I like the Races of the Dragon idea. I'll try to get it allowed, but because it's solely for Monk cheese, it may not make it. Let's hope so! BTW, I'm planning on using the Decisive Strike monk variant, so Enlarge Person, coupled with Improved Natural attack and Greater Mighty Wallop? All on a single (Wraithstrike + Scorching Ray/Shocking Grasp) Double Damage attack (4x on a crit)? Sounds yummy. |

Actually you need Arcane caster level 3rd. Nowhere does it mention needing to cast spells of a certain level in the prereqs. |
