Hi y'all,

So I got invited to a game tomorrow afternoon and was going to work on my character but work called and I can get an extra shift in (unfortunately thats more important so my broke behind can pay bills ) and I cant take my books to work. All books are allowed but Psionic classes/PrCs are banned and so is Frenzied Berserker... So I was hoping some of you guru's might be able to help me throw something together.

Heres what I've got/am looking at;
Starting at Level 6
28 point buy
Half-Giant; +2str, +2con, -2dex (buyoff for the LA +1 is allowed so once thats adjusted I believe I'll end up a lvl 5 - first time using this for me so I'm not sure exactly)
13,000 gp in items/magic items allowed

I'm looking at a Barbarian 4/Fighter 2 (or adjusted barb 3/fighter 2)
Using the Barbarian Lion Totem instead of +10ft of movement, because I was basically told pounce was too good to pass up).

Wants;
Light or med armor that will provide best protection in conjunction with dex bonus(if any)
Large Greataxe (enchanted??) because powerful build is gonna be nifty hehe
Composite Longbow (+1 or +2 if it doesnt waste too much money)
magic items that add anything to AC or what else might be useful for this build.

feats;
power attack of course
leap attack if I can
extra rage
not sure from there... iron will maybe since that will save is gonna suck.

Hope I hit everything, typing kinda fast cuz I'm running out the door. Thanks in advance!

It'd help to know what books you have available because if you have Races of Stone then the Goliath is flat out better than Half-Giant. It also has Barbarian as a favored class helping out those pesky XP penalties. With all that said (and assuming you can be a Goliath) try something like:

1 Barbarian 1; Improved Weapon Familiarity
2 Fighter 1; Power Attack (b)
3 Fighter 2; Improved Bullrush
4 Fighter 3
5 Fighter 4; Leap Attack
6 Fighter 5; Shock Trooper

Use a Goliath Greathammer since it's like a Greataxe but blunt and with a x4 crit multiplier. Also take the dungeoncrasher fighter class variant from Dungeonscape. Take 1 more level of fighter to get the second benefit of dungeoncrasher then just take barbarian levels, maybe PrCing out at some point.

Edit: Almost forgot! Do take the Lion Totem variant barbarian but also take the Goliath barbarian substitution level at 1st level. It makes you actually become large-sized (with all that reach) when you rage and gives you an extra +2 Str when you rage as well. If you really don't want the hammer then just take Extra Rage in place of Improved Weapon Familiarity and use a greataxe.
