My friends said that if I made a character I could join them in a new campaign they will start soon. I really like my character in 4e so I thought I'd try to make my character based of him. Since I'm new to 3.5 stuff, I thought I'd try to get some help. ![]() Now what I need. -Needs to be a gnoll. (Love those little guys) ![]() -Needs to be a stealthy, shadow-using killer. -Uses sneak attacks. -Jumps around a lot. (Teleports and other stuff) Note that I have access to only a handful 3.5 books so I'm not even sure this might be easy or even possible. I'm aware of the gnoll's stats, racials, and conditions and a don't really care if its not really optimized, I just really want shadowy, sneaky, killer gnoll assassin. ![]() Also all books are allowed with a few exceptions. |

It bears noting that at-will, or even frequent, teleportation is pretty much unheard of in 3e, and the Shadowdancer's teleportation doesn't let you take actions afterwards so no 'teleport into flank for sneak attack'. Note that you're going to lose 3 levels worth of class features by being a gnoll, with the 2 racial HD and the +1 level adjustment, as well. |

In the same book I have with the gnoll stats, there is a prestige class called the Telflammar shadowlord and its a lot like what I want in this guy. He gets a shadow teleport, the ability to attack after a teleport, and the power to not die when in the shadows. Note that you're going to lose 3 levels worth of class features by being a gnoll, with the 2 racial HD and the +1 level adjustment, as well. As stated above in the third paragraph, I and fully aware of all the gnolls conditions and such. |

You could go Totemist from "Magic of Incarnum" with the Blink Shirt soulmeld. |
| #5neilthrunNov 08, 2010 1:32:11 | The ninja base class from Complete Adventurer gets invisibility, bonus on jumps, run up walls, poison use. A really cool base class imho. |
| #6waazraathNov 08, 2010 15:25:28 | eh, just swordsage? Gives sneak attack, invisibility, stealth skills, and frequent teleportation, think it fits for all the requests. |
