Help with a Kineticist (controller)

Jun 04, 2008 22:13:56 Im starting a new campaign in a few weeks or a month (DM is still up in the air). But to my point, i want to make a Kineticist that can (eventually control almost every thing). i wont to focus on control object and control body. so sooner or later i can have creepy puppets that are attacking my opponents (ya i know what your thinking). so what classes should i take to make this idea better?

but here is the catch im starting at level 2. my ability scores are Str 12 Dex 16 Con 12 Int 17 Wis 14 Cha 14. i cant switch the numbers but i can change that stats they are in. the game is set in the eberron setting im thinking about playing a kalashtar. other then that if you have any questions ask this is my first time posting on the CO boards so i might be missing some stuff.

Second, due to the lack of full manifesting Prestige Classes, chances are, you wanna go straight kineticist.

Psion(kineticist) 2...... continue Psion 20

12 Str
16 Dex
14 Con
17 Int
14 Wis
12 Cha

feats:
Psicrystal affinity
Extend Power(psion bonus)

Powers:
1st lvl:
Control Object
Control Flames
Crystal Shard
Vigor
Psionic Grease

as for books that are "aloud" any... books i have or can look at would be eberron handbook, PHB, PHB II, XPH (maybe, have to go to the store yo look through it), complete worrier, complete adventurer, and complete scoundrel. not like this will help much seeing as how most of those have nothing to do with Psions. oh yeah and the SRD (thats where im getting most of my information on this class). but yeah thats what's aloud.

3.5 Psion Buildguide and Compendium

there are some Kineticist builds... and lots of ideas

you have a good selection of books and source material.. including the SRD

eberron handbook
PHB
PHB II
XPH
Complete Warrior
complete adventurer
complete scoundrel

these are all useful to a Psion, there is a lot of other stuff in them that can help.... Feats,Equipment,etc...
