Off the top of my head I want to take human druid 6 and pick up greenbound summoning and initiate of nature. I'm just not seeing anything else interesting to take with these limitations.
Looking at an evil druid with a plant fetish. Is there anything else good that faerun puts on the table besided copying the core druid thread? Some synergy I can't seem to find? Halp!
Feat ideas? Race suggstions? PrC's that synergize well with the theme? |

Faerun has some decent goodies for druids, some of which you already mentioned (how greenbound summoning is not a +1 metamagic I don't know) but in general, a druid is a druid. The big thing is that unlike in some other settings, in Faerun you need a divine patron if you are a druid. Oh, and there are wilding clasps if you want to spend a lot of time wildshaped, but iirc wilding clasps are now given in the MIC anyway. If you are ok with crafting, it might not be the most plant-themed thing but Magic of Faerun has an interesting (and possibly broken, depending on whom you talk) feat called gem magic... basically imprinting a spell on a gem. Check it yourself - it is fairly fast as far as enhacing items goes and can be very versatile. Finally, for some real cheeze, look up "circle magic" and how it works. You can pull some crazy stuff with it. Mind you, it's not availalbe to most characters - if I remember correctly, only Thayan mages and Rashemi witches. Now that you mentioned that you are evil, one option you might want to look at is the PrC in Unapproachable East called Talontar Blightlord, it's like a Blighter that doesn't, well... suck, and for some reason the template affiliated with it is a plant type. However, you can be a "regular" evil druid just fine, and while his dogma doesn't work as well for evil characters, Silvanus is a pretty decent option for a patron. His PrC (Forest Master, F&P) is more of a cleric-oriented one, though, so most of the benefits would be RP-related - such as a large cult you can call on if you need backup and affiliation with which doesn't get you burnt at the stake. As for the rest, I think it would be pretty much standard Druid stuff. Checking out the complete series, faiths and pantheons and champions of ruin could be handy, but tbh I don't remember something particularly awesome from there. |

I'd have to replace my animal companion all the time because he keeps turning into a juju zombie... I mean.. once he turns into a juju zombie do I still have contol over him? I'm unsure how that is supposed to work.
I might also see about throwing on the mineral warrior template for durability sake, since it is in a faerun book anyhow. |

Faerun druids can get Node Spellcasting, no? It's useful sometimes. And flavorful, without leaving Druid. Ah, here we go. Craft Contingent Spell is in Unapproachable East. That should be considered along our usual Assume Supernatural Ability, Frozen Wildshape, Greenbound Summoning, Aberration Wildshape, etc. |
