#1 bprdagent May 15, 2009 6:51:46	My character just brought the farm and I want to do a melee character. My last character (druid) while useful really didn't help the party as much as I'd like to. I've heard good things about combining the Scout and the Swashbuckler but can't think of how to go about it. Ideally somthing that can let me get to the fight do damage and then avoid the counterattack. Also in the long term then Devrish prestige class is where I want to take the character. Level 5 (might be 6 but I'm working on it being 5 for now) 32 Point Buy Min stat 6 Max stat 20 Not allowed to use Tome Of Battle, Tome of Magic or the Book of Vile Darkness. It's also in the forgotten realms so there's a region to also think off. As for race I'm going to Human for this one unless anyone else has better ideas? Any help in this will be most appericated!
#2 hsien May 15, 2009 6:59:16	I'd recommend a switch as I don't recall any feats that benefit that combo How about; Rogue/Swashbuckler, w/ Daring Outlaw feat I like this combo for Master Thrower PrC or Scout/Ranger w/ Swift Hunter; This is better choice, imo, if going Dervish
