OK.

Im starting this new campaing in Dragonlance (gotta still read about the setting, never played it).

I wanted to make a druid, but I know they are really overpowered in 3.5 and dont wanna take the easy path or use the alternate Wildshape from PHII because I dont really like it.
So I though I could make a bard.

My personal preference are support chars. I like helping in combat with some CC spells, abilities, aiding allies whether with bonuses of debuffing enemies and being able to escape enemy.

Basically I like being in the back "controlling" the combat area.
If I can DD its good! Sometimes you only need to do that, but its not really important for me.

So, what can I do? I prefer more char with many abilities or at least some MS and H and Diplomacy and Buff.

Spells are my best friends, love them!

So can you help me out with this build?
I can play gnome, no real problem with race, or human, usual.

Books: err, I guess all completes, races and basic. Can you help me¿

If you want to be really simple but still great;

Barb 10 / Sublime Cord 10

9th level spells, full music and knowledge. Your 4-9th level spell can be from the Sorc/Wiz list or the bard one. Yeah it's not optimized really, but some people like simple builds.

Just a warning: According to DLCS p 45; dragonlance bards cannot use spells from the Conjuration (Healing) subschool.

Do you have access to the boomerang daze feat? If so, I can help you!

It'll be awesome!

My current thought is:
Dragonfire Inspiration
Bard 5/Lyric Thaumaturge 5/Sublime Chord 2/MindBender1/Initiate of the Seven Veils 7

Docter Rocktopus...That build...I must play it. It beautifully combines three of the best prestige classes -and A dip in mindbender- on a Bard!

Now, I usually start with a musician as a base for my roleplaying flavor for bards(I play them all the time) and then tweak until I have something completely different. Robert Johnson mixed with... Eric Clapton?

I'll freely admit that all of my bards are based off of either cello\violinists who wish to remain as anonymous as they are beautiful, or Fred Astaire\Frank Sinatra.

I keep meaning to play a Bard 2, Human paragon 3 [need to take extra performance feat], Lyrical Thaumaturge 5, Sublime Chord 10. And go for the crowd control option with a heavy bias to enchantment.

Here is a link to some DFI optimization built into an actual character. Note that I take a liberal reading of Words of Creation. If your GM doesn't, it may not be worth it. It should be useful as a point of reference for laying out some of your feats. I hope it helps!

Play a DethBard based off of Micheal Angelo Batio

I'd suggest the following:

N Human
Bard 5/Mindbender 1/Lyric Thaumaturge 4/Sublime Chord 2/Fatespinner 4/Sublime Chord 3-6 or [full casting progression PrC] 1-4.

For feats, take Melodic Casting at 1st, Mindsight at level 6 and Doomspeak as early as will fit in. Maybe even take Ability Focus (Bardic Music), to make your Doomspeak uses that much more devastating. As soon as Doomspeak is online, and even more when Fatespinner comes along, you not only have lots and lots of versatility, you're also teh Debuffzor!

Did something physically prevent you from reading my similar build?
Doomspeak is mind-affecting, isn't it? And further limited by the wide array of things that bardic music doesn't affect without feats in place to make it hit, neh?

One thing- how does you qualify for lyric theurge at level 5- the class requires 9 ranks in perform.

Another option is to go Bard 4/Warblade or Crusader 16 and combine song of the white raven with maneuvers.

You may not be able to. You can afford to push the leveling schema around a little bit.

Bard 5//MindBender1/Lyric Thaumaturge 4/Sublime Chord 2/Initiate of the Seven Veils 7
Take the fifth level of Lyric Thaumaturge when you think you need it. Remember that DFI is there to help too.
