Help with Beholder Mage

Jul 13, 2013 15:51:10 I'm making a Villaneous Monster NPC Beholder Mage, and i want to add other spell lists to its own, but right now i remember only of Rainbow Servant which can't be evil.

I also remembered of Fiend-Blooded, Frost Mage, Sand Shaper, Unseen Seer, and Wyrm Wizard, but these ones gain a restricted group of spells or even a single spell, and i would prefer an entirely spell list (like Cleric from the forbidden Rainbow Servant).

Any thoughts?

Jul 13, 2013 17:01:35 Ur-Priest doesn't add spells to Beholder Mage's spells list, Ur-Priest has its own spell list, and that's not what i had in mind.

I think to go with Wyrm Wizard, but add a single spell per two levels is not that good, i really wanted something like Rainbow Servant.

Jul 20, 2013 10:36:58 You may be thinking of Lyric Thaumaturge? Though it requires things like, you know, Bardic Music to enter, and IIRC it only adds from the Wiz/Sorc list anyway.

The Recaster [Races of Eberron] is another one, but it's only open to Changelings.
