I am new to D&D and I found a group where we start playing from 1st level in Eberron with 3.5 rules. I've been reading alot lately, and from what I see, the PrC that best fits me is Dervish. But It requires 5 BAB and few skills and feats, so I will be able to pick it at level 5. So I need a good suggestion for the entry classes.
For now, I have decided to be Valenar Elf and to fight with Valenar Double Scimitar, my idea is to start it like this:
1 - Swashbuckler
2 - Swashbuckler
3 - Swashbuckler
4 - Fighter
5 - Fighter
and then for
6 , 7 , 8 , 9 , 10 - Dervish
But now, I found the Dervish's Handbook with the search function, and I can saw a class Revenant Blade, it's quite good that I can use 2x Power attack on both ends of the Valenar Double Scimitar, but I am afraid that this is a very Item dependant build, because I might lack Attack Bonus. So, pls post ideas of improving my build.

My rolls for stats are the following 17 - dex / 17 - con / 16 - int / 14 - str / 10 - wis / 9 - cha

I insist on being valenar elf and fighting with Valenar double scimitar for the sake of picking Revenant blade later, we are playing with all books and feats from the 3.5 rules, except for Pouncing charge maneur and red wizard class.

PP: Pls dont suggest starting with ranger, i dont like it.

I have seen some very nice Warblade and Swordsage work done with the Dervish. ToB might be amusing for you to examine, if you haven't already done so.

If you're allowed to rearrange your stats, battle dancer from Dragon Compendium might make an interesting entry class. They get both Tumble and Perform as class skills, full BAB progression, unarmed damage as a monk, and their "dances" are very much a flavour match for the dervish. The lack of armour is kind of a bummer. Though it would be something of a late entry, you could also go into revenant blade. Battle dancer also gets hide and move silently.
