| #1wertyMay 03, 2008 16:45:12 | Hello everyone. I was hoping for suggestions on improving a dwarf tank build. So far I'm using an Arctic dwarf (UA) giving -4 Dex, -2 Cha, +2 Str, +2 Con Ranger 3/Dwarven Fighter 1/Fighter 1/Deepwarden 2/Kensai 5/??? My stat rolls yield 1 Dex. Hence the Deepwarden for Con to AC and the Kensai for Concentration checks for reflex. A fairly good tank, I think. My DM rules that Con to AC is limited by armor but applies against touch. For the finish, I was thinking Dwarven Defender (DM rules a variant where diehard is a pre-req and dodge bonus is natural armor that stacks) or taking Warblade in place of Fighter and going into Bloodstorm Blade. Books are fairly open. Nothing 3.0 and MIC is tentatively banned. No hardcore serious cheese. Suggestions? |

It seems like a good way to lose BAB without gaining a ton. Am I missing something? Maybe Ranger3/Fighter2/Deepwarder2/Kensai5/Dwarf Paragon 3, for a better break? |
