Generates AoO's like nobody's business. What two stances do you want all the time at level 20? A couple of the Stone Dragon strikes are exceptionally powerful and VERY easy to get. You have 13 base manuvers, 7 active. You want a Boost and Strike for every round, you want at least 4 utility effects (Diamond Mind Will Save, Diamond Mind general save, Iron Heart Surge, Iron Heart heal?), and you want something to make you really effective on the rounds you are refreshing and can't use a Strike or Boost. You should have a minimum of 3 9th level strikes...Iron heart, Diamond Mind, and Stone Dragon, with probably the triple dmg concentration (Diamond Nightmare Blade?) as a filler. Not sure where to go with this, but there's an entire thread out there devoted to Warblade builds. ==Aelryinth |

I see pouncing charge with power attack, leap attack, shock trooper and wall of blades, which is a nice combination, especially with stance of alacrity. Some things to think about: First of all your saves. Those will be fairly low, which is dangerous. For a warblade, I like to have stuff like iron heart focus and diamond defense to help out with the saves and iron heart surge can help out if you still fail one. As for the feats, you need 1 "crap warblade bonus feat", but you didn't take one of the strongest feats in the game, namely combat reflexes. Combine it with a reach weapon and you'll get some extra attacks every turn. Also I wouldn't recommend quickdraw. You can get it from a crystal of return (MIC p65) which costs as little as 300 gp, 1000 if you want the lesser version. Also blind-fight is situational so you might want to drop those feats. With extra warblade feats I'd prefer those that help out with the saves. I understand you need blind-fight to get pierce magical concealment, but why do you need that feat?Invisible things are invisibible so you wont know they are there before its to late and when you get it at lvl 15 your not really gonna see any blurred archmages, they'll have greater or even supreme invisibility. A ring of spellstoring (DMG p233) with a see invisibility spell in it and a dispelling (MIC p33) weapon would probably be a lot more useful. I dont think getting rid of a magical miss chance is worth the feats. Instead you might want to look into something like close-quarters fighting (CW p97), especially for those low levels. Or if you took endurance from one of your warblade feats you could get steadfast determination (PH2 p83). On your question about switching maneuvers, why would you not switch those that you no longer need. Something like steely strike is really not that useful after lvl5 so why not switch it for iron heart surge at 6? At almost every lvl there is a better maneuver you could switch for an old lower lvl one. You could get mountain hammer at lvl3 and switch in wall of blades at 4, iron heart surge at 6 lions roar at 8 and so on... Make a list of all maneuvers you really want to get at lvl 20, than look at the prereqs and make it happen by switching em around. Lastly you intent to use leap attack and sudden leap with 4 ranks in jump? You might want to change that. Also you might want to look at the leaping dragon stance. |
