Help with Fochlucan build

Feb 27, 2009 15:00:49		My Cleric will die in the campaign I'm in (long story and i'm fine with it) and I'm planning on playing a fochlucan lyrist with an emphasis on the druid casting as a replacement. I've looked at the fochlucan build thread and it help a lot but appart from my prerequistes feats I'm at a loss about what to take. I've based my build on the Honest Fochlucan found there http://forums.gleemax.com/showpost.php?p=5415303&postcount=7

Race: Strongheart Halfling
Build Stub: Bard 1/Druid 3/bard +1/Green Whisperer 2/Itinerant warder of Yondalla 1/Green Whisperer +1/Itinerant warder of yondalla +1/Fochlucan Lyrist 10
Stats: STR 10 DEX 14 CON 14 INT 16 WIS 17 CHA 15
Feats:
1. Dodge
H. Mobility
3. Melodic Casting
6. Open
9. Open
12. Open
15. Open
18. Open

Notable Class Abilities & Build Features:
  • BAB +16
  • Good saves
  • 15th level bard spellcasting
  • 17th level druid spellcasting
  • Bardic Music
  • Bardic knowledge
  • Halfling Druid substitution level 1
  • Shapeshift alternative class feature
  • Mimicking song alternative class feature
  • Crowd-walker alternative class feature


This guy can wildshape using his shapeshift but it's useless in combat. Purely for Flavor. Countersong never served me so I'm picking mimicking song instead. There's more city than wilderness so crowd-walker fit just right. Melodic Casting allow me to cast while I sing which is a no-brainer but aside from that I've hit a wall. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. I have access to pretty much anything including Dragon.

Green Whisperer is in Dragon #311
Itinerant Warder of Yondalla is in Dragon #328.

The rest of the party consist of:
Human fighter chain-tripper
Human warlock (standard flight & blast)
human rogue/fighter/swashbuckler/dread pirate/etc. (DMPC...yeah I know...)
drow duskblade
changeling rogue/cleric/arcane trickster (divine variante)
human cleric (me)
