Help With Frenzied Berserker Build

18 (Str)
18 (Con)
17 (Wis)
15 (Cha)
13 (Dex)
12 (Int)

I picked human as my race and was planning on going frenzied berserker in the long haul. I was going to go 3 barbarian/4 fighter then start dumping levels into frenzied berserker. For roleplaying purposes, I was going to use full plate (I realize this negates my fast speed as a barbarian, but unless there is another major penalty I'm missing from this, I'll probably go with it).

What I'm looking for help with currently is fear resists or immunities. I thought about taking Legendary Leader (Heroes of Battle), but it doesn't seem to offer that much. So what I'm seeking is a feat or another class that provides help with countering fears. Thanks in advance.

Mar 18, 2008 15:48:26 Iron Will is the obvious once. Steadfast Determination (PHB2) lets you use Con for Will saves.

Cumbrous Will (Savage Species), possibly combined with Bullheaded (regional FR feat) to counteract the downside.

Also, ToB has various counters that can help. You can't really justify using them while frenzying with the restrictions, but to stop entering frenzy they work. Warblade is the obvious dip, but Swordsage will get you +2 Will from the good will save so is worth considering (the free Weapon Focus goes some way to compensating for the lost BAB).

What kind of stat system were you using?

(That's total +12 stat mods, jees.)

My DM uses a high-powered roll system. 4d6, drop the lowest d6, reroll 1s and 2s.

On one of the 18s, I rolled 6, 6, 5, 2. I rerolled the 2 and got a 6.
