In my experience with pathfinder, full spellcasting is more powerful than it was in 3.x. Go with the fighter cleric.

yea i was thinking about going this way  because of full spell casting  but  the damage from rogue/ fighter  archer would be silly   but thatnks for the post if anyone else has idea or feat combos let me know

You may not realize this but the damage capability of the fighter/cleric  is going to out perferm a rogue/fighter by a incredibly large margin., I would take the extend spell feat for sure so those self buffs you cast on yourself stay on for an extra while, and of course the basic melee feast like weapon focvus, weap spec and power attack, use a two handed weapon by the way as  a cleric you are going to have the highest AC in the game, provided you buff yourself with the spells, the buff from sheild of faith is better than a shield in every way as deflection protects againts touch attacks.

depending on the domains you chose you can even be more tilted in teh scale over the rogue/fighter combo,

Divine Metamagic/ Persist Spell/ Win

Go around fully buffed all day.

Favorites -
Divine Power - Not as good as normal, but not bad
Divine Favor - Luck is an obscure bonus type. Probably will stack with most things.

Pathfinder does not have Persistent Spell or DMM...or rather, it does...a persistent spell is an offensive spell that lasts two rounds and forces two saves.

I'd say if you want pure unadulterated offense, the fighter/rogue is the way to go. Remember, you can use Sneak Attack perfectly well in heavy armor, and the whole Intimidate line that makes opponents flat footed will be ideal for you even if you can't get a flanker. Pick tricks you can use in armor, and you should be good to go.

However, the fighter/cleric will have many more options available in a fight because of spellcasting, and will be an all around more useful character.  If you want to be the skill monkey of the group, rogue would be okay, however.

I don't know a lot about Pathfinder, so i have two questions.  Are there enough good fighter feats and class features to justfiy fighter 20? Are they any good PRC's available to branch the fighter side into?

Unless you get it for free, do not use a bastard sword.

Your best choices are scimitar or falchion, depending on whether you want a shield or not. Note you can get free Weapon Focus in scimitar as a cleric of Saeranrae I believe.

And, oh, yes, you want to stick wiht Fighter all the way through. No PRC's needed in PF!

Well it doesn't hurt that most of the PRCs in PF kind of suck.

The PF fighter is slightly better than the stock 3.5 fighter, as in it has some bigger numbers but we know that wan't the issue with fighters to begin with.  Fortunately cleric or rogue solves those problems such as out of combat utility or alternate ways to win an encounter outside I hit it hard.

I think you can find enough feats in PF though they won't be as nice without the 3.5 splat feats.  So if you are doing pure PF.

In this case the PF divine power is actually better than standard since all you would have received from 3.5 DP was a str bonus (which you can get from other spells and items) since you already have full BAB and both versions give THP.  PF DP gives luck bonuses, THP, and an extra attack.
