| #1SylvanPrincessAug 19, 2010 20:14:11 | hey all, i am trying to have a character created by tomorrow morning, and the latest thing ive been drawn to is trying to recreate a sephiroth-type class build. what would he be if you could use any of the books, 3 classes, +1 prc? I am a female aasimar, with +2 wis, -2 con, from the japanese part of the map we will be playing. i am chaotic good, and my numbers are 18, 18, 16, 16, 14, 11. im starting at level 5 my original thought is that it needs to be a powerful gish character. dont know how, but looking at samurai/wu jen/blade dancer, even though it will not have high enuf spells |

That takes 6 levels. So, with Bite of the Werebear, swift Shield and Greater Mage Armor, you're at AC 38, otherwise unequipped. Remember, you can use Bite, then hide the outer changes with disguise self or alter self, while retaining bonuses. If you're a spontaneous caster (which makes being a paragnostic apostle trickier, unless you're on the Bard/subchord path ), a one, two, or four-level dip would be well worth your while, granting you the ability to extend any spell with verbal component without increasing casting time or level, as well as the ability to empower or widen any fire spell with verbal component. I would also suggest looking at Incarnum, a dip to evil Incarnate, or just Cobalt Charge and snatching a bit of Essentia - with a spell, say, as you're a Gish - would greatly improve your abilities. Get Persist Spell and you can use Soul Boon to fill yourself up, too. Beyond that... Well, Tome of Battle fits, but Phoenix Mage is a bad fit, IMO. |
