This is a build ive been toying with and would like some thoughts/comments on how to improve. Ive left a few of the feats open and only planned this character to 14. I was thinking of going back to cleric for the other 6 levels. This character only has 3 turns without items, so im thinking that extra turning is needed somewhere. I also want to put the feat Holy Warrior in for some extra bonus damage.

Race - Dwarf

Class – Cleric
Domains – Planning(feat extend spell), War(weapon prof/focus Warhammer)

Stats – 32 Point Buy
Str: 14
Dex: 10
Con: 12
Int: 10
Wis: 18[21]
Cha: 10

Skill Point Distribution/Other info – Cleric gets 2/lvl(8 at first), Church Inquisitor[CI] gets 4/lvl, BattleSmith gets 2/lvl. To get to CI you need 4 ranks in spellcraft, knowledge religion, and knowledge arcana. This takes up ALL your skill points for the first 3 lvls. BattleSmith requires +5 bab, and in my case 10 ranks craft weaponsmith. This means the earliest I can get it is lvl 8 (because of the bab). 4 lvls of CI nets me 16 skill points. 10 of which goes into weaponsmith, leaving me 6 to obviously put into concentration. /end rant

I'd pick up Contemplative 1 for a bonus domain.

Moreover, what books are open for this? What diety are you worshipping (Moradin, I'd guess but I don't know for sure). Also, metal domain > war.

Any wizards published book is available for use.

Suppose i should of mentioned it doesn't matter what diety it is, my group is open when it comes to that, meaning there could be a diety x out there that uses weapon x, and has domains y and z available. So that isn't a problem. If a prc needs a specific diety worship we usually find a way to circumvent that.

Also i do like the idea of going metal domain off the bat, if i take Ordained Champion i would end up receiving the war domain anyways.

thanks for the input

If you plan on going Ordained Champion, get war domain first. This will give you automatic entry into the class, then when you get your bonus domain pick up the metal domain. If you do it the other way around, you're gonna have to burn a feat on Weapon Focus.

According to the Spell Compendium Metal Domain, it says it gives me weapon prof and weapon focus for warhammer (which is my weapon). Not sure if your looking in another book for Metal Domain, but this was the resource i was using.

Thanks tho
