As for a build, trot on over to the psi-board and check out the Psion Build guide and the Wilder Build guide. Each has something in it. The +4 Cha is very helpful to Face builds. The +2 Level Adjustment can be bought off; check out d20srd.org and search level adjustment buy off. The first LA is bought off at level 9, the second at level 11, and you'll have to run it by your DM. Them you slowly make your way back on EXP due to the wonders of "Experience is a River", somewhere around this board; check Tleilaxu_Ghola's sig. Rogue 1 / Wizard 15 / PrC 4 with Phrenic eventually bought off, could be fun. |

The abilities with daily uses don't sound half bad (though I'm not very familiar with psionics, and therefore am not in a very good position to judge), and the boosts to mental stats are pretty darned good for any caster-type, and even for those who aren't casters: +4 to an attribute is a pretty large boon, and the LA is still quite low in comparison. No matter how you look at it, the per-day abilities are icing on the cake -- you'd really be taking it for the ability scores and maybe power resistance. |

| #5friendlyfrogMay 04, 2008 6:49:30 | Psi-like abilities are good. Like, very good. When a creature uses a psi-like ability, the power is manifested as if the creature had spent a number of power points equal to its manifester level. |
