Improved Trip AND Improved Disarm? I'd pick one or the other, as both are usually only useful against the same kinds of targets (humanoids).

I don't remember which books the feats that boost your ability to intimidate things are in. If you can get something like Frightful Presence or Dreadful Wrath, do it.

Improved Disarm isn't worth a feat.

Especially since you can trip anything you can disarm, almost always... and you have +4 to disarm a tripped character while they get a -4.

Ability focus (curse) will bump the save up by 2, and dc 17 at lvl 4 is damn good. I also found that, especially if your curse focused, power attack was an awesome investment. you attack bonus is so big with full BAB, high str, curse and dark companion, not getting power attack means missing out on a whole lot of extra damage.

For better feats advice, post up you plan/image of the character, and how far the campaign is likely to go. If it’s not going to go very high, melee power is all important, but if it’s likely to go higher, there are better things to do.

Int-12

Feats- Human- Combat Expertise

Technically you need an Int of 13+ to have Combat Expertise. Is your DM allowing it or did you miss that?

Also, check out the 2007 Hexblade Handbook. There's a lot of useful info in there for feats, spells, and other features.

Hexblade bonus feat:
* Combat casting: take this if you don't wanna boost you conc bonus (useless with 3+ skill points per level);
* Focus: take this if you wanna cast spells with saves (confusion, charme and so on);
* Spell Penetration: take this if you wanna cast spells without saves (vampiric touch, enervation...).

Useful feats for HB:
* Dreadful wrath/Frightful presence/Daunting presence (Fear effects, CHA-based);
* Practise spellcaster (+4 CL!!! if you wanna boost your magic weapon, vampiric touch or your CL to overcome SR);

Read carefully Dictum Mortuum's "Hexblade Handbook 2007". Really helpful!!!

i read the hexblade handbook. ability focus will be my next feat i believe. this is gonna be a frontline wtfpwn thing.
my post was a mistake. my int is actually 14. my bad.
so which should i take if i don't take both disarm and trip? cause trip is a touch attack i believe. disarm is not.

ability focus? or something different? i am not sure if practiced spellcaster is worth it right now...

Power attack is badly needed.

I'd also recommend practiced spellcaster and obtain familiar.

I'd also redo the stats

str 14
dex 12
con 16
int 14
wis 12
cha 17

Cha is everything to a hexblade and you'll be kicking yourself later if you don't pump it up at every opportunity. Con is needed for more hps (especially if you have a familiar), boosting your weak fort save, and a higher concentration check. Str is nice but there are plenty of other ways to boost your damage and attack rolls.

I second the familiar. obtain familiar, and improved familiar (and practised spell caster) will get you a fantastic companion, with good hitpoints and full BAB. will also help you with flanking/tactics in combat. overall helps a great deal with the wtfpwn you want.

I would recommend the familar over ability focus, as the sooner you can get a worg/salt memphit on your side, the sooner you can start really kicking ass.

Instead improved disarm/trip I should take Dreadful wrath and Power attack/Imperious command.
Practiced spellcaster could be useful about 12th level (CL 6+4=10).

Ex:
Greater magic weapon --> +2 bonus, 10 hours (instead of +1, 6 hours);
Vampiric touch --> 5d6 (instead of 3d6);
Alter self --> 100 min (instead of 1 hour);
Also helpful for overcome SR!

So, @ 6th level Ability focus is better than Practiced spellcaster, but I should go for a feat that grants you a fear effect (consider Resounding blow from BoED too!).

The MoMF could be an option of an epic HB that could polymorph in outsider (@ epic lvl cause you don't loose BAB). I prefer a 20 level HB/20!!!
