I would like a build of Horizon Walker that is ranged, effective in combat, and gets Shifting and Cavernous Planar traits. Is this doable? Could i ask you courteous people to help and guide me to a build which accomplishes this? The campaign starts at 13th level, 40 PB, and probably 90% of books are allowed. (I just have to ask, pretty much.) I don't really know where to start, although Ranger has endurance as a freebie, so that's probably a good start. Maybe a Swift Hunter?

Key for Horizon Walker is Ranger 3/Horizon Walker 7. Then, it's a matter deciding how to use the remaining 10 levels. Howzabout...
Ranger 3/Focused Diviner 2/Horizon Walker 1/Abjurant Champion 5/Horizon Walker +6?/Arcane Archer +2

BAB 16@17, CL 16.
Guided Shot, True Strike --- Carrier effects on Arrows including 1d6 sonic, 1d6 fire etc... and AoEs and whatnot with Imbue Arrow.

Non-caster:

Ranger 3/Something ToB 2 (or Scoundrel)/Dread Commando 5/ShadowDancer 2/Horizon Walker 7/Exemplar 1.

Maximize Hide & MS, completely undetectable, snipe from long range, teleport to a new location if discovered.

I think i'll go for the middle link in cru's post, but why grey elf?

Gray Elf(+2 Dex,+2 Int,-2 Str -2 Con)

Ranger 3/ Soulknife 2/ Soulbow 8/Horizon Walker 7
BAB +17
Stats: ?? Int>Dex>Con>Str>Wis>Cha ??

With this build, i start out with 0 levels in Horizon Walker though.

What makes you think you have to take the levels in that order?

With this build, i start out with 0 levels in Horizon Walker though.

i just like Gray Elves .... it could be Human, since the focus is on Wisdom with Soulbow(Wisdom to Damage) and Zen Archery(Wisdom to Attack)
Stats would be like this:

Wis>Con>Dex>Int>Cha>Str

Wisdom is needed for Combat and Senses(Spot and Listen ckecks) and Saves(Will Save)
Con for Hp, and Fort saves
Dex for Archery related Feats, and Ref Saves, and Dex based Skills
Int for Skill Points and Search and Knowledge Devotion
Str and Cha are Dump Stats

Build order as follows if using Human:

Ranger 1
Ranger 2
SoulKnife 1
Soulknife 2
Ranger 3
Soulbow 1

at this point it depends on what you would rather do.... anyway it should work well:

to get Close Combat then Movement abilities:
Soulbow 2
Soulbow 3
Soulbow 4
Horizon Walker 1
Horizon Walker 2
Horizon Walker 3
Horizon Walker 4
Horizon Walker 5
Horizon Walker 6
Horizon Walker 7
Soulbow 5
Soulbow 6
Soulbow 7
Soulbow 8

or

Focusing on Movement and Sensory first then Archery:
Horizon Walker 1
Horizon Walker 2
Horizon Walker 3
Horizon Walker 4
Horizon Walker 5
Horizon Walker 6
Horizon Walker 7
Soulbow 2
Soulbow 3
Soulbow 4
Soulbow 5
Soulbow 6
Soulbow 7
Soulbow 8

or

focusing on Archery first then Movement:
Soulbow 2
Soulbow 3
Soulbow 4
Soulbow 5
Soulbow 6
Soulbow 7
Soulbow 8
Horizon Walker 1
Horizon Walker 2
Horizon Walker 3
Horizon Walker 4
Horizon Walker 5
Horizon Walker 6
Horizon Walker 7

How would you modify that to work with Pixies? Our DM may be making a watered-down pixie with less LA, and if it goes down a lot, i may be using it. Not for sure yet, but...

Now, this is basically a super long dungeon, which takes things like Earthglide, Xray Vision and teleport into account, probably with liberal use of lead. Would you reccomend going Archery (probably 1 level of Horizon walker for Underground before Soulbow) focused right away? We start at level 13, so i can finish up with Horizon Walker in the movement focused build right away.

So, Whisper Gnome Ranger3/Soulknife2/Soulbow 4/Horizon Walker7/Soulbow 4

starting at level 13 makes things lots easier. Should there be any deviations from the basic Point Blank Shot/Psionic Shot/Greater Psionic Shot feats?

carnivore is presumably gone.

you need a move action to charge psychic strike, and a full round for psionic shot, so not so good, actually. You'd need at least psionic meditation then, and possibly a psicrystal.

Also, if you have Magic of Incarnum, Psycarnum Blade is actually better with a minor investment (works like psionic shot, but with 1d6 damage per invested essence.)
