Is there a way to survive an area for an extended period of time that not only has no breathable air, but is under the effects of an anti-magic field? Example Solution: A warforged character does not need air to survive nor do they stop functioning in an AMF. |

When taken to any airless environment it retains air within it at all times, continually renewing its contents. This means that a character can draw air out of the bottle to breathe. The bottle can even be shared by multiple characters who pass it around. Breathing out of the bottle is a standard action, but a character so doing can then act for as long as she can hold her breath. Moderate transmutation; CL 7th; Craft Wondrous Item, water breathing; Price 7,250 gp;Weight 2 lb. Also: There are several PrCs that turn you into an Undead, Construct, Plant, Ooze, or Elemental. None of these needs to breath air. |

However, if the effect is an Antimagic Field, and not a Dead Magic Zone, you can block the line of effect with a normal mundane cardboard box (or something similiar). AMF is an emanation, and those require LoE. |

I wonder what's the ruling on air inside extradimensional spaces (Portable Hole, Bag of Holding), particularly if there is no breathable air outside the E-D space. There are many innovative solutions to your problem, you just need to tell us what's your situation so we can prescribe the easiest solution. |
