How abuseable is the Inquisitor PRC?

Apr 24, 2008 17:36:54 Given all the Completes (excepting Psionic), and the PHB, DMG, MMs... Also with a Cleric base using Glory, Good, Law, Sun, or War domains... The Race should be Dwarf. What should a cautious DM look for in this build to prevent some kind of upset to game balance given the other characters are likely to be sub-optimal.

Apr 24, 2008 20:32:43 Church Inquisitor isn't one of those classes that break the game, say for instance Planar Shepherd. It's main optimization points is how easily it can be entered, and the fact that it has Cleric casting (which in itself is no more abusable than Cleric 20). The anti-illusion and anti-enchantment aspects are just gravy.

Apr 25, 2008 5:46:36 I'm playing one right now. I'm basically a cleric with some minor lie-detecting stuff, immunity to mind-affecting wotsits, and a +4 dispel check. It's nothing to get too excited about really.
