#1 Endarire Jun 12, 2008 17:41:28	I'm a grey elf wizard4 who started with 20 INT. At L4, my INT became 21. I know levels, tomes/wishes, and a headband of INT can boost my INT to a total of 36 at L20. A Codex Anethema (Lords of Madness) is unlikely, and while it grants +2 INT, the inherent bonus won't stack with normal wishes or tomes. Polymorph any object allows for INT boosts, but my DM has disallowed INT changes with PAO. Aging can boost my mental stats, but it will diminish my physical stats, and, realistically, it's beyond the scope of this campaign. Level adjustments are unpleasant, and I'd prefer not to take them just to boost my INT. (The same goes for classes that boost INT.) Lich gives +2 to all mental stats, but at 4 LA. Deep Imiskari (3.0 "Dragon") gives +2 INT and -2 DEX for 1 LA. I suspect there are some obscure item or PrC that will give a non-enhancement, non-inherent INT boost. If so, where can I find this?
#2 rebel7284 Jun 12, 2008 18:14:04	A primordial half giant has +1 LA but starts with +4 INT, +4 CHA. Epic spellcasting can boost attributes by a lot as well as epic feats for +1 to an attribute. Dragonwrought Kobolds don't take aging penalties but get aging benefits. There are a couple of templates that can give INT boosts too. Illumians can use STR for spells known. Cancer mage can get infinite STR. So with a few lost caster levels, you can get infinite spells.

#4 gorthawar Jun 13, 2008 3:38:04	I think you covered most ways to increase int except classes. And the only class that increases int and doesn't totally screw a wizard I'm aware of is an Elven Paragon from UA/SRD
