| #1dr_mikeymikeOct 29, 2009 19:50:15 | Hello again, people! The feedback on my last post was great so I thought I'd go ahead and ask again. One thing that I thought would be interesting would be a Barbarian/Ranger combo. If am thinking that a composite long bow would be the primary weapon. The perks, of course, would be the increased mobility (similar armor requirements are synergistic in this regard), higher skill points and a favored enemy (if Ranger is taken at lvl 1), and higher hp/damage resistance (at higher barbarian lvls). Raging might come in handy if all of the sudden my guy finds himself in close-combat

| #2pyro_azerOct 29, 2009 20:24:06 | About the dex issue there is a barbarian varient in dragon mag 330 (but also on crystalkeep.com) that gives you an abilty called resilient rage. The biggest difference between this and rage is it gives you +4 dex,+4 con instead of +4 str, +4 con. This would help out your problems with MAD. |
| #3deoxhydroxinateOct 29, 2009 20:32:33 | Ranger and Barb are both classes really good for dipping, unless of course, you plan on doing some sort of Swift Hunter action. I'd steer clear from taking many levels in those classes, unless you have to. |
