How much does a Waterskin hold?

May 23, 2008 16:46:37 I'm about to join a Sandstorm campaign, and I"m wondering. if I have to regularly consume a gallon of water each day, how much does a waterskin hold?

One gallon? Two? Four? Someone help me out here!

May 23, 2008 17:08:43 Water weighs 8 pounds per gallon, and the weight of the skin itself is neglible. I think this is more relevant for your needs than your question. I don't really see why this deserved its own thread, on the CO board. It could have been asked in the "Ask a simple question" thread.

fork of feasting...

6th lvl hero's feast spell
11th lvl caster.
1 use per day

6x11x1800 / 5 =23760gp.

can be done cheaper im sure..

Everlasting rations is simple, enough food for one person per day.

Replenishing Skin is a normal waterskin that refills every 1d4 hours. I wanted to know how much water it is so i know if i can just water myself, or if my party could use it too.

Seriously though, why isn't this in Rules Counseling?

May 24, 2008 1:17:54 Because I wasn't sure of where to ask this, and CO is my first stop when coming to the D&D boards and I figured i had the best chance of getting some input from people who know the games rules well here.

but it seems dependent on the invorement, the amount of physical labor, the race of the characters involved (a giant would drink more than a halfling) and of course climate

but do you really want to get that amount of realism?
