#1 gargamella May 20, 2009 13:08:02	I'm: human, wizard5/war mage (DL) 5 / Force Missile5/Argent Savant 1 My feats are: Eschew Materials Combat casting power attack iron will Weapon focus (ranged spells) ledy's gambit Empower spell* --> from War Mage Arcain Thesis (MM) Enlarge Spell*--> from War Mage Knowledge Devotion Twin spells i'm lvl 11 now and got int = 24 (20 + head band of intellect) i can't find items/spells that can boost my intelligence... could u help me? with my 62k of gold i take those items: Eager Dagger MIC 4300 Mithril Twilight Chain Shirt +1CA 3000 healing belt 750 Heward's Fortifying Bedroll (C M) 3000 Headband of intellect +4 16000 rod of quiken spell lesser 35000 my total gold to take items is 66k...
#2 phaedrusxy May 20, 2009 16:20:38	That's not too bad. You could have boosted it by +2 by picking a different race, and a bit more by having your character be older. +1 to mentals/-1 to physicals for being middle aged isn't too bad. For characters older than that, I usually make them undead to avoid having a terrible Con score... It's generally not worth buying a Tome till you can afford the +5 one, since they don't stack (unless your DM houserules otherwise, as I used to).

#5 vrischika111 May 25, 2009 9:25:07	take human paragon 3: loose one caster level at 1st level, (choose 10 skills, good for some pre-req) gains a MM feat @ second, +1 effective caster level +2 any carac @ 3rd, +1 effective caster level use otuygh hole to get iron will (save a feat) use wizard variant (UA, p59) to replace scribe scroll + MM feats by fighter feats -> weapon focus (wiz 1) and power attack (Wiz 5) => save another feat
