Nov 30, 2009 19:01:56 (3.5) How would you guys/girls here on the CO boards go about building a gestalt eruditte 5 Diamond dragon 10/ x 15?

I'm completely open as for books and the other class. I would prefer a complete build including feats, and the whole no two prestige classing at the same time including the dual caster prestige classes has been house ruled in my campaign to be non-existent. If it matters the eruditte's powers/day is powers/lvl/day. The variant class ability that allows you to change spells to powers must be taken. As for the type of character, you may go in any direction you wish as long as the eruditte half of the gestalt is not removed(including diamond dragon). Heck even race and templates are open but the ELC can't go above 18. Our stats are made using 18, 18, 16, 14, 12, 10.

Nov 30, 2009 21:22:47 Wow your DM is f'n crazy. Warblade on the other side, with 3 levels of Swashbuckler, if you want to gish it up. I'm not familiar with the Diamond PrC you're mentioning. What does it do and where is it from?

8/10 manifesting.
Gain a total of +3 to str, dex, or con or spreading those bonuses out over those three stats.
In addition you also gain the ability to use power points to gain dragonlike traits. Such as claws, immunity to sleep, wings, breathweapon, tail, and frightful pressence.

It is not an optimizer prc you lose 2 manifesting levels, and a simple metamorphsis combine with linked power and metamorphic transfer would be much stronger.

except fpr the fact that you can't change into anything with a template... the diamond dragon is similar to the half dragon template

And as for the diamond dragon not being an optimized mainfester, the character doesn't have to be. He just wants the psionic draconic flavor. the other side can be optimized to the point of godhood though.

Why? cuz he likes high power campaigns???

Dec 01, 2009 16:06:04 Hmm. Personally, I love me some factotum right now, and 18 is the sweet spot for that class. Grab some font of inspiration and be super versatile.

Or go more focused: Forest Gnome: Focused Specialist Illusion Wizard (with the Races of Stone sub levels)/Shadowcraft Mage/Master Specialist (Of course you need to grab the heighten spell and the earth sense/spell to really make it sing, but its still strong.

Swiftblade is also good if you want to squeeze it in somewhere. Them's my advices.
