| #1VoyRagerApr 25, 2010 17:59:19 | Found y'all!! Yes, this inquiry is to ask assistance on a character development project. (A major character at that!!!) The character resembles a creature called some kind of Water Nymph, at least that is what I vaguely remember: What I originally surmised the character as an elememtal race seems more likely then after fine-tuning the character's class and abilities I found an uncanny exact base of the shapeshifter with the presumption that the character natural and primary defense is metamorphing who also an experienced illusionist/telepath plus is known by the local merfolk races as one of them. This character I saw in the book (maybe, Dragonlance or Forgetton Realms since these two were in the collection I was researching with) also was a shapeshifter and that was her calling card as present. So, I guess I'm asking does anyone here know any character, or race with the following description and is a primary SHAPESHIFTER. 7 feet tall Found in aqua environment or water terrains Natural shapeshifter or metamorphic abilities. Some psionic or illusions abilities scores and modifiers. I have been working with a character that is of a Merfolk lineage, yet have some natural abilities that are different than unnatural by merfolk's and human's standards and familiar as well as different than both by merfolk's and human's abilities) I was aiming for a small Water Titan but the handbook I saw one day describe my character's base abilities perfectly which did startle me. I've planned on then went to looking for more information but couldn't find anymore. My character is a key to the plot of the project, with the story events, is a lead role and major player. I've researched and then searched for more information but couldn't find anymore then when I couldn't properly recalled or find the handbook I originally saw this creature's description and modifiers in I returned back to how I was doing before but the information I saw ruined the idea of building on Titan's modifiers unless I can scale a range for the right adjustment to the size of this water nymph. I believe the creature was in one of those books used for maps and terrain settings. (A world's guide I think they called.) Since this creature isn't in any of the monster guides At least the many I checked so far or I may have overlooked it even though I've done a page to page for any scores or modifiers that resembles water nymph creature. Yet I am sure by the above description (in bold) of the creature, one of you guys can tell me everything including the region's (map book,) D&D Adventure guidebook and/or simply everything esle there is to know about the character's relating to class and abilities. I really was expecting to find more information from the monster guide when I returned the borrowed handbook/ guidebook back to its proper's owner but as you can see by this inquiry I should have recorded the information when I saw it. Does anybody out there know of this creature and can leave any information on how to obtain what you know or place the creature's abilities, modifiers and scores and everything esle you can here on this thread?
