| #1fozzybearApr 09, 2008 21:12:00 | So I am a fighter2/rogue4 using a spiked chain to trip and make sneak attacks. It is core only. But if I could add just one extra Prc or book, which would you choose? |

| #3archerpwrApr 09, 2008 21:18:43 | Dungeonscape? |
| #4phaedrusxyApr 09, 2008 21:34:26 | Hmm... I think I will 2nd the MiC. |
| #5NiteCyperApr 10, 2008 3:10:26 | You know, for some reason, I recall that opponents who were prone still couldn't be sneak-attacked. http://www.d20srd.org/srd/conditionSummary.htm#prone Do you know about the Scout and Daring Outlaw feat? Those might be better options than Fighter levels. To get your opponent prone, play-test using marbles. Go to the Funny Quotes thread in my sig and search 'marbles' inside the 'stealth handmanual WIP' sblock and check out the thread. |
| #6pfootiApr 10, 2008 8:26:51 | Either MIC or Tome of Battle. MIC has lots of tasty items. Tome of Battle lets you ditch out of your core levels and go with either Warblade or Swordsage, and has a TON of crunch that helps melee fighter types kicko el bootay, as they say on the moon. |
| #7sinfire_titanApr 10, 2008 8:37:53 | You know, for some reason, I recall that opponents who were prone still couldn't be sneak-attacked. I think you mean Swift Hunter and Ranger+Scout, but that takes 3 books (Core+CAdv+CS). Bo9S? |
| #8taeldrin_laesrashApr 10, 2008 8:49:31 | I'd go with the PHBII (Especially for Robilar's Gambit). |
| #9SenevriApr 10, 2008 9:20:19 | Tome of Battle, duh :P |
| #10Midnight_vApr 10, 2008 10:24:11 | Tome of Battle, duh :P +1 |
| #11forrestfire15Apr 10, 2008 10:31:13 | Heres another vote for tome of battle |
| #12jameswilliamogleApr 10, 2008 11:16:25 | ToB. |
| #13Chaos348Apr 10, 2008 12:08:28 | Dragons of Eberron.![]() No, seriously... Tome of Battle. |
| #14davethemagicweaselApr 10, 2008 12:21:59 | ToB |
| #15operation_shoestringApr 10, 2008 13:26:48 | Dungeonscape? +1 Just because i'm contrary and almost everyone is saying ToB. |
