| #1thefilthylyreJul 09, 2012 10:29:18 | I'm running an RPG soon and am trying to help one of my players build a decent Soulbow class. Any and all tips are more than welcome, but what I want to know is can a soulbow dual wield their mind arrows? In Complete Psionic the picture of the soulbow clearly shows them using mind arrows with one hand, whilst their other holds a shield. You can dual wield hand crossbows, so why not mind arrows? Thanks |

They can dual-wield, but the extreme feat costs aren't always worth it. Doubly so because those feats require Dexterity when the Soulbow is all keyed to Wisdom. What books are available? I've seen some devastatingly effective Wisdom-based soulbows (here's a few - the trick is to search MinMaxBoards and BrilliantGameologists, not here) but they draw from several books. |

(Mainly talking about thri-kreen, which make a lot of sense with soulbow since they're a psionic race to boot.)My favorite soulbow build was actually a dwarf, though I never got to play it. I picked up some Tome of Battle, went into Deepstone Sentinel, and created my own sniping towers while I hunkered down with in the heaviest armor I could pick up with a tower shield. ![]() |
