| #1AcridApr 05, 2008 16:53:47 | So i am working on my character this weekend. He is the NPC that I am using in hte campaign that i am running. At the moment we are lvl 15 and are going through 40. Here is the build that i am using: Human with 2 flaws Rogue 1 Mobility, Quick Draw, Improved Iniative, Weapon Focus Katana Rogue 2 Rogue 3 Swift hunter Rogue 4 Rogue 5 Rogue 6 Expeditous Dodge Rogue 7 Scout 1 Scout 2 Skill Focus Iajitsu Scout 3 Exemplar 1 Iajitsu Master 1 Improved Skirmish Iajitsu Master 2 Iajitsu Master 3 Iajitsu Master 4 Spring attack As of right now when i move at least 20 ft and use my blur strike katan i get :1d0+ 4d6(SA)+ 5d6(skirmish)+6d6(iajitsu) From this point on i plan on finishing out Iajitsu master, then getting 3 more lvls of rogue, so i can go into Void incarante at lvl 25. What are yoru thoughts on this build? any ideas or suggestions? Basically he will almost always go first, run in stab for a ton of damage. then run past and make them forget baout him immediately. Thus makign the flat footed again. Thanks in advance for any help |
| #2chibishuffleApr 05, 2008 17:47:19 | what books? what setting? what does the opposed party look like? Putting all of that aside I know this much you want five levels of iajitsu master the fifth level ability is truly scary. to elaborate consider Krusk in a thong. thats the type of scary I mean here. |

Rest of the party is Knight/ Dwarven defender/ legendary dreadnaught Warblade/ Defender type Malconvoker summoner eitehr an undead hunter, or a swashbuckler type build, depending on what he chooses and a githzeri monk |

Also, How do you "make them forget about you"? Running away and hiding and them coming back does not make the enemy flatfooted again. The proper entry to Iaijustu master is Factotum 8. Cunning surge is TEH WINZ. Factotum8/warblade1/Iaijutsu Master5/Crusader2/Bloodstorm Blade 4. Make sure to grab the Aura of Perfect Order stance. It removes the need for exemplar. Sapphire Nightmare Blade is your pal. try to have a high starting INT (16 or 18), and then spend all your level up boosts on CHA. You should have at least a 20 in CHA by high levels, booster further by Items. Crusader 2 makes your Cha cover your low will save, while Iaijutsu Master 2 adds it to initiative and 5 adds it to damage. Bloodstorm blade 4 allows you to Iaijustu with a thrown weapon. Invest in a few +1 returning daggers and Iaijutsu from across a room. Oh, and if you burn a feat on Able Learner, you remain a solid skill monkey for your entire career. Feats: (flaws): Font of Inspiration H) Able Learner 1) Improved Initiative 3) Quick Draw 6) Weapon Focus 9) Stormguard Warrior? 12) Font? 15) Font? 18) Font? |
| #7carnivoreApr 09, 2008 5:19:50 | also remember .... Void Presence (Ex): Opponents of a void incarnate unconsciously ignore the void incarnate's presence starting at 3rd level. They are always treated as flat-footed to the void incarnate (and thus may not apply their Dexterity modifier to AC). This lasts until the void incarnate attacks the opponent, but resumes again at the start of the void incarnate's next turn. This is a mind-affecting effect. things that are immune to Mind-affecting effects (undead, Constructs, etc...) .... will still detect you as normal :D |
