I had this ridiculus idea at work one day to build a mounted Iajutsu User probably going with Factotum and Warblade. any other suggestions?

How would you solve the Pounce issue (the only real way to deal reliable iaijutsu damage on a mount) and lack of a quick-sheathe option?

Factotum/Warblade really does work quite well for iaiutsu, but it usualy does it through quickrazors (which can quick-sheathe, and you can even dual-wield them if you've got the need*) and they also come with great methods for catching the enemy flat-footed (early on, Sapphire Nightmare Blade; in the midgame, Tiger Claw jump strikes or White Raven Strike + Cunning Surge). It's hard to transfer all of this to a mount.

But not, ironically enough, to a spear. I've got a toy build I'm working on that uses a shortspear (simple weapon, also happens to be favored by Diamond Mind) as its iaijutsu blade, using Intuitive Attack and Yondalla's Sense to become reasonably Wis-SAD while delivering such strikes. It might benefit from a mount, but certainly not a mounted charger.

*My own iaijutsu factotum/warblade lacks TWF, but keeps a second quickrazor anyway. He conceals it via Sleight of Hand, and attacks with it to trigger the concealed-weapon-based skill tricks, or when he gets the chance to use Wolf Fang Strike (two iaijutus stabs instead of one). Most of the time he's just fighting with one.

Isn't there a similar class to Telflammar Shadowlord that gives mounted shadow pounce? If I drop in some swordsage instead of warblade I could gain the teleport powers of shadow hand as well as casting dimension door as a spell like ability. It won't be the best initiatior but it'll be funny. As for the quick sheath issue Im not worried about it too mush this being a mounted charger build I figure I can take every other move action to sheath the lance and then next turn charge again.

Cool thanks. so here's what I'm thinking: Strongheart Halfling Factotum 5/Crinti Shadow Marauder 5/Warblade 10 total IL 15 BAB +16 taking Mounted combat, and stealthy at first level spirited charge at third taking Font of inspiration 3 times and Martial study twice for the Shadow hand teleports that don't use up the move action (they dont have prereqs) and power attack somewhere in there. Anything Im missing?
