| #1stalos_Oct 28, 2008 23:46:50 | Hi all I started a thread a while back for an eldritch glaive warlock and got some good help, but I didn't get what I really needed the most, which was some help on feats. I need feats that improve my combat prowess or are otherwise really, really useful. I am going Ur-priest and then eldritch Disciple. I have very good stats at Str 16, Dex 15, Con 15, Int 13, Wis 16, Cha 17. I have looked over the mini-glaivelock guide and both warlock handbooks. While I have gotten a lot of good stuff from them, I still have my 9th, 12th, 15th, and 18th feat free. Right now I have: Iron Will (Regional Bonus) Power Attack (Human Bonus) Law Devotion (1st) Travel Devotion (3rd) Spell Focus Evil (5th) What else can I take. I was thinking about quicken spell-like ability two have two full attacks 3 times a day, but there must be some other feats that would be useful to me. Any feats that increase reach would be nice, but inhuman reach is too much of an investment and doesn't fit with the character concept. I am so out of ideas and really need help. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Stalos |

Ability Focus: Eldritch Blast adds a +2 DC to whatever Eldritch Essence you apply to your Eldritch Blast, regardless of what Blast Shape you use. A Blinding Eldritch Glaive will get +2 DC, for example. In Complete Mage you can get Fey or Fiendish Heritage and Fey/Fiendish Power for +1 CL and +1 DC. There are some other useful heritage feats in there that you may be interested in. Frightful Presence in the Draconomicon is good for debuffing opponents' d20 rolls without spending any actions to do so. Get Dreadful Wrath as your regional feat and go to town stacking fear effects. Get Ability Focus for either or both of those to make them harder to save against. If you get Ability Focus for just one, make that one active first so if they fail the save, they'll get a -2 to save against the one with the lower DC. |
