If you had a Swarm attack (like "Swarm 2d6") but were type Outsider, are
there any ways to improve this attack with spells, items, etc?

Other than Improved Natural Attack (Swarm) like the Razoreel here:
http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/fw/20040221a

Can anyone think of any way?

GMF says "Natural Weapon" and a Swarm attack isn't exactly a magic weapon. Plus it is not area effect, so it wont work on something of Outsider type but with Swarm traits.

* The amount of damage a swarm deals is based on its Hit Dice. Bard's Inspire Greatness adds temporary HD.
* Sneak attack might work.
* Increasing size should increase the affected area.
* Ability Focus (Distraction) + buff Con

I asked about these temporary HD in the Ask a Simple Question thread and the answers there were that the temporary HD only affect the enumerated things.

Otherwise the core bardic music might actually be useful...

Unsorted ideas: Weapon Specialization? Sneak Attack, Skirmish, Sudden Strike? MF/GMF should work, too. Inspire Courage/Dragonfire Inspiration. Any spell which gives a flat bonus to damage rolls. Favored Enemy. INA. Greater Mighty Wallop, maybe. Bless/Align Weapon to overcome DR. Arcane Strike.
