| #1aronsonSep 15, 2009 21:01:31 | I am looking for a way to get a full attack action after a move, such as pounce. Pretty much the only limits that have been set is no feral from savage species. I have been looking for ways to do this for a long time and the only thing i have found is the ranger spell pounce and i dont remember where i found it. any help would be nice. |

To use it in more than one encounter, you need turn or rebuke undead. I'd go for lion totem barbarian and maybe whirling frenzy while you're at it. Travel devotion would allow you to back up in preparation for another charge, which is helpful for shock trooper or skirmish. |

| #6aronsonSep 17, 2009 17:26:08 | Thanks for the link, that is a great forum!! The only thing on there that i could use was lion totem barbarian which my DM rejected as broken. It is a little broken having punce with a 1st level barbian (well once you gain a few levels). We did work out a little house rule twist on it though. Here is what we came up with. I do not gain the fast movement of barbarian and when i rage i gain a +2 Str, +2 Con, +1 will save and -2 ac plus pounce for the duration of my rage. I'm ok with that, but if there is a better way please let me know. Thanks again |

Quite honestly its not "broken". If you wnat to see broken go take a look at some druid feats and some Cleric and Sor/Wiz spells.
It is however cheessy. I think Pounce should be a feat chain or something you get at like Barbarian 5. Dipping Barb1 for an ability that doesnt affect characters below level 6 is stupid. |
| #8keyes2k4Sep 19, 2009 10:38:36 | Psychic Warrior 2 power Psionic Lion's Charge EPH 125 It's not quite pounce, but it works very much like it. Psychic warrior is a good class, too. |
| #9vistariusSep 21, 2009 0:49:12 | Lion totem barbarian(pounce), complete champion+leap attack+valorous weapon=epic damage. |
| #10viperjock_stimjunkieOct 09, 2009 20:19:26 | Lion of Talisid Lvl 5 - Lions Pounce - Full attack at the end of a charge BoED pg 65 basically a Druid prestige class tho. |
| #11aelryinthOct 10, 2009 17:02:29 | Pounce works at level 1 if you are wielding dual weapons. If you aren't, most people just leave it until BAB +6. And yeah, that combo of classes and feats above is the core build of a Charger build. Done right, it can take down almost any opponent of your CR pretty much in one attack sequence. Travel devotion is explicit in allowing you extra movement. Sudden Leap is not so definitive. As a low level effect, it doesn't say it allows you to move more then your normal movement. It does allow you to leap at otherwise strange times...for instance, after you've already made a standard action move, normally limited to Sneak Attack. It's more flexible, but not as powerful as travel devotion. If it allowed extra movement beyond the norm, well, jump distances might have to be straight, but they can be very long! ==Aelryinth |
